A hotdog at the beach taste sooo much better than a hotdog at the dome. The sun, sand and ocean sounds and smells make all restaurants food taste good. Need something to do? how about sitting In the sand and feeding the seagulls or riding the Ferris wheel. If you want a bunch of stuff to do then don't go to the beach. Chill out.

Murells inlet has some pretty good food too. Heard wahoos is great, nances seafood is good and drunken jacks is worth the trip also. Drunken jacks and wahoos both stay packed in the summer though so we wait till fall till we visit.

can't you West Virginians go anywhere besides Myrtle Beach? That place is lame and tacky. go to a nice beach for a change. or go out of the country. Costa Rica is nice.

Murrell's Inlet is right up the road from Myrtle Beach. Granted it is not as tacky but still not that much different from Myrtle Beach. If you want a real change of pace, how about the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Africa, Australia, etc. etc. Go out of your comfort zone!

Some of us have small children who we would rather keep closer to home. Some of us have sick parents also who we need to be near in case of emergency. I've been to Hawaii but myrtle is the yearly thing we do as a family. I don't care if u like it or not. We like it just fine.
