Why would a husband not give their wife his FB password? And get angry about it?

Because he is probably having some inappropriate conversations on there that would cause tension between him and his wife. Or he could just be flat out cheating. I am a notorious flirt and some of my conversations are borderline. I have never cheated on my wife and never will but I do carry on talking from time to time. My wife knows I am a flirt. Sometimes there are financial stuff I discuss with my money planner (aka mom) that I don't want my wife to know. My wife cannot manage money and feels if we have it we spend it. I keep money back she does not know about in case something happens I know she will be ok with the kids. Could be many reasons. But if he is unwilling to just say hey I have some private conversations on there that although you are my wife the conversations are private between myself and such and such I might be suspicious too.

Maybe the wife should talk to the husband about it?

Why doesn't the wife trust the husband? Why does she want to snoop through his social media?

Why have a secret FB when you are married??? That answers it because things are going on behind my back!

MAYBE, just MAYBE, you should have got to know him better BEFORE you married him instead of having to now ask him for his FB password and crying on Topix when he refuses.

He's probably not letting you have access to it, because you're probably the type of CRAZY bitch who would go through & send nasty messages to every woman you don't know, and delete all the women.

Paranoid is NO fun to live with.

If you trust him, you have no reason to go through his shit...having your own space isn't necesarily "keeping secrets"...the fact that you're LOOKING for shit to get into tells me he probably IS cheating because you're a f*cking psycho

why do you want his password to begin with. get your own facebook account. I'm sure you don't give him any time to himself for anything. get a life and stop trying make him your whole life

I love the couples who have a combined account!! How stupid! Surely not every friend is friends with both husband & the wife. Can only imagine the jealousy in those marriages!

I know my husband's FB password & he knows mine. Not that there was ever this demand for passwords, it just came up. I don't snoop in his account and I'm sure he doesn't mine...but he's welcome to look if he wants. He'd have no problem with me looking at his. But, we are secure in our marriage, we trust each other & aren't jealous.

I hate those combined accounts too! For one...you never who you're talking to! And you're right...my husband and I have old classmates, colleagues, etc that the other doesn't know. I'm sure some my friends might hesitate to tell me something very private if they thought my husband might be the one getting the message! It's just really weird!

So says the cheater. If you're married and in an honest and open relationship you don't have any 'secrets'. If you do you're shady and you shouldn't be trusted and if you think its OK to behave this way then you're shady yourself.
