Is the KVYFL splitting a part? I know that they have let new teams in but are the old teams leaving?

I hope so because dean Sigmon is an idiot who only wants to insure his travel football league. I can't believe they let him back in as president

I am so sick of the Kanawha Valley vs Chemical Valley adult arguments that for the first year since he was 5 I'm not even letting my son play at all this year. If the adults can't act more mature than the kids, then I am over it. As much as my son loves to play and as good as he is, I hate to do that to him but what am I teaching him if I let him play in a league of grown idiots that act like a bunch of cry babies.

I think the teams that want to leave the KVYFL feel the same as you! They want to leave the drama filled teams/people behind!

Whatever city you live in is where your child plays. Or unless you are one of them who jump teams.

We aren't team jumpers- not that it's any of your business. Teams can't play without opponents, buddy. You sure have a nasty attitude but no ACTUAL information which is what I asked for.

Also, your info isn't accurate. Being split up by city might work for you, but some are split by school district.

South Hills and South Charleston are in. Dunbar and Western can have a schedule to play other teams in the bye weeks but they are not playoff eligible. But if several of the teams that want to leave the league to avoid drama have their way, I'm sure Dunbar and Western will get in officially and it will be a 5-6 team league!

I posted before and stated that adults are ruining sports for the kids. 95% of coaches are only coaches to make sure their child is a star because they know they cant prove that they are to any other coach because he is out there making sure his kid is being a star. What they dont realize is once the kids get into middle school and high school their talent is seen and IF they make the team they are sitting on the bench. Hate to say this but I have found it amusing to see names on the High School Rosters yet they dont see the field at all and would you believe it, it is that same kid that was only 3 feet tall yet he was the Quarterback for "A" Team coached by no other than his daddy! PRICELESS... Now I see league are wanting to leave KVYFL why is that oh because the big dawgs are coming in and they cant hang! You think your kid has a choice IF he makes it to the NCAA or NFL? Yeah, nope he is gonna play who his franchise schedules him to play... grow up people let the damn kids play football!

The same coaches that you are talking crap about are the same ones that allow poor sportsmanship. The cursing and dirty plays that wouldn't be tolerated in middle and high school. Many of the "Big Dogs" you speak of never play beyond midget league because they don't have the grades to continue. People want to leave the league because they don't want to tolerate thugs! With the influx of Chemical Valley to the KVYFL come far too many thugs!
