<quoted text>Harvey, wasn't it the republicans who were elected in 2010 on a platform of more jobs? What have they done to get us more jobs? From my standpoint, they are more worried about repealing Obamacare than they are creating jobs.

Harve Wall Banger wrote, "<quoted text>
They all need to get back to making manufacturing, creating jobs and making the middle class part of the upper class's and making the lower class at least middle class. We need to work solely on poverty in this country and make this country poverty free."

But that's just it, Harvey. That's the point. Democrats tried to pass a job bill. Republicans killed it. Democrats tried to pass an outsourcing bill. Republicans called it "political theater" and killed it. Democrats tried to raise the taxes on the rich to reduce the burden on the middle class, but republicans killed it.

What have the republicans proposed to bring jobs back to America?
Lately nothing and that is the truth. All they have worked is trying to regain full power after the loss of the presidency when Obama gained office in 2008. Instead of what they should have done, concentrated on fixing problems that exist in our country. So actually we have been in a standstill for the past 9 or 10 years. We have been in a free fall since 9/11 and can't seem to get out of it.

I agree with you about the free-fall since 9/11. I am sure that a hundred years from now when historians look back on this period of time they are going to see that as the single most devestating thing that happened to America. Not because of what the terrorist did, but because of what we did to ourselves after that.

And I think that any democrat that is disappointed in Obama has every right to be, but I still see him as the lesser of two evils. We need to stop this world-wide campaign that we have going to "export" democracy. I think it is time that we go back to some isolationism and decide what our values are and what is important to us becuase this death spiral we've been on since 2001 just ain't working. Jobs, education, infrastucture, science, technology--all of those things that made this a great country need to be brought back to the forefront.

We're being steered in the wrong direction but a lot of self-serving bastards on both sides of the isle. If we would have reacted this way after Pearl Harbor we'd all be speaking Japanese now.

A mild form of socialism. Not full blown socialism. There is a mild form of socialism built into our government now. You won't get a politician to say that, but it is true. That's what a safety net is. That's the whole premise behind a safety net. To help the misfortunate and lower income people. The great society and big deal and other social aspects that have been passed by our government. I think they are great. I even think our health industry needs a complete overhaul. I think it needs to be a government or centralized non profit program to take care of every American citizen. A healthier America is a more profitable and less dependent America. More people would be able to work and actually make more money and pay more taxes to fund our system.
We have always had touches of socialism in this country since the day we were founded. The combination of capitalism and socialism is what has made this country great. Tweeking it til we get the right combination needs to be the goal. Too much socialism is dangerous to our liberties and unchecked capitalism is also dangerous and not the the way for a moral society. We have too much socialism in some areas such as welfare, and not enough in others such as medical care. We have too much unregulated capitalism in oil and banking and too many regulations when it comes to building refineries or nuke plants. We need to tweek it to get just the right combination.

If people bothered to educate themselves about what Bin Ladens plans were they would know he has won. He said his plan all along was to change it from within, he knew he couldnt win militarily. We have done everything he had hoped for. We have ruined the country, not the terrorists. Bin Laden wins. A country full of gutless cowards so scared they will do anything for a false sense of security, including giving up their freedoms and way of life.

I find it too funny that many do not know what socialism is and those that whine loudest (actually echoing from a RW source),they are beneficiaries of such a system and too dumb to figure it out.

Socialism means there's a scary black man with a funny name in the White House. In 2016 it will mean there's a scary woman in the White House. What it really means is that if the fascist want to be in control, they are going to have to take it because nobody is going to vote them in.

If anyone thinks Hilary Clinton is the answer, then they are not playing with a full deck. Neither party is capable of pulling up their pants and rolling up their sleeves to do what is right for America. They are all under the control of big business. Every dollar they spend on politicians they expect ten back on their investment. While the politicians help them with our money and the liberties and lives of our fellow country men. They are also getting paid and using perks on taxpayers dollers, along with a retirement package for stealing from us. They want us divided to conquer our own people with political correctness, race and scandlesto keep us occupied and lull us to sleep while they rob us of liberties and money. If we awaken and unite, they fear for losing everything or a revolution. Remeber the constitution to fight enemies domestic or abroad. This was implimented also because of big government that infringe on the people of the USA.

Doesn't much matter if she's the answer or not. As long as republicans keep worshiping crazy people, rich people, fake religious people and bigots, Hillary is who you are going to get....like it or not. Republicans are pissing off black people, women, Hispanic people, gay people, poor people, old people, college students, union members and everyone else who isn't a rich white American. You can't win elections that way.

Freedom is never more then one Generation away from extinction .
We Didn't Pass it on to our Children in the Bloodstream.
The Only Way They can Inherit the Freedom We Have Known, Is if we Fight for it ,Defend it and then Hand it to Them with the well-Taught Lessons of How They in their Lifetimes Must Do The Same,
And if you and I Don't Do This, Then You and I may well spend "OUR" Sunset Years Telling Our Children and our Children's Children What It "Once" was like in "America When Men Were FREE.

Like I said, both parties are worthless. Our current President is a nutless wonder except to his fellow Americans when he has tried to screw them over. Hilary has no nuts in both senses. I lived in New yoek when the carpetbagger bitch came and did nothing for anyone and rode coat tails as she has throughout her short political career. So I have first hand knowledge on her. She is more crooked then Bill was. it is very simple, repeal NAFTA, Free Trade Agreement and Patriot Act. Make government smaller and bring back jobs.

Doesn't matter in the least. If she runs, she will win. Republicans are alienating large numbers of American people on a national level. They just can't win with that philosophy.
