Bacon.....Oh yeah, this tax law is such a good thing. They are still adverstise for a firm law. Obama cried for 30 million who did not coverage and you have nowhere near that many signed up. You have had 4.5 million kicked off their healthcare along with the lie of being able to keep your doctor and coverage. Such a great law the just pass it and we will find out later what is in it. Plus change it 27 times without congressional approval. So you like keeping the individual mandates in while you help everyone else. But this was suppose to help all Americans and you chose to help everyone but the people. A screwed up website and socialized medicine. Good job sheeple
Typical Republican. Say it's a failure the day after it becomes law and say it needs to be scrapped. Why would you complain about changes being made when you didn't like the law in the first place? I would think changing it would be seen as good to someone who doesn't like it.

Obamacare will go down in history as one of the greatest presidential accomplishments since the New Deal, Medicaid, Medicare, etc. Not today, but when the bugs are ironed out. And, it will be know as Obamacare, making him a praised and influential president throughout history. And, all Repubs will be know for, as usual, is being against something that improved lives (see the above programs).

Reporter, if you want rural philosophy, go to a feed store, auction, or farming related internet forum, and you'll get regurgitated Fox News and Limbaugh spew, mostly, due to the limited availability of high-speed internet in WV. 1. Reverse the Citizens United decision, pass a constitutional amendment for public financing of elections, whatever it takes to get economic interests out of elections so that lawmakers can respond to real people and needs with no interference from corporations. Take the glamor out of being a politician. Make them live on the median income of the people in their district while in office, and subject to the same laws, etc.
2. Some kind of flat tax or similar with few exemptions (first $100,000 tax free, say) and no loopholes such as tax shelters, applying to any person, business, or income. And a transaction tax and other regulations for financial markets, to reduce manipulation by huge banks who can afford fast computers and specialists to outgame average investors.
3. Nationalize the energy industry and start a transition to renewable sources (including oil from algae), which have been supressed by various means. We need everything in the mix for now. Then renewables will be in place when fossil fuels have to be phased out or deplete on their own. We will have less need to go to war over oil, for example.
4. Promote greater income equality and security through living wages, health care (including family planning and birth control, retirement plans, equality for women, etc. so that people will not spend their lives in worry and frustration, and having more children as their private retirement plan. It will be necessary to stabilize Earth's population to ease the strain on limited resources, and this is better than wars, famine, and disease.
5. Encourage more localized production of food and goods to reduce transport requirements, and make the national economy less vulnerable to disturbances such as hikes in gas prices every time some foreign event gives financial traders the hiccups.
6. Build new, more efficient infrastructure: smart electric grid, light rail, electric buses, energy-efficient everything. A new building code to require energy-efficiency in new construction and rerofits. This will keep the construction industry booming for decades. High-speed internet for all, and anyone who can telecommute instead of driving to an office will do so.
7. Decriminalize marijuana and hemp. This would free a significant part of the prison population to lead productive lives again, reduce the use of the remaining illegal drugs, and provide a fabulous new crop for farmers and material for industry. Better yet, legalize all drugs and put the law enforcement money into treatment for those who can't handle it, as has been done in Portugal since 2001.
8. Trim down the budget for the military industrial complex, and other such waste. Eliminate corporate welfare unless it is shown to be in the public interest, and then find other ways to serve the public interest instead if possible. Fund an independent inspection and auditing agency to ferret out waste and fraud, from no-bid contracts for cronies to public welfare cheats. This might be a good use for all the ex-IRS agents.
9. A new emphasis on education, particularly science and technical education (even if it means paying for competent teachers), support of space and ocean exploration and eventually industry and colonies. This will also have returns to the economy bigger than the investment.
.
What?!! No body parts or sex acts in your response? You'll never be one of us. Too many big words. Too many of those idea things. Heh. Heh. I said "thing".

If the opinions I attributed to you were wrong, then tell me about it. Show me where I was wrong on my immature posts. Don't run from it. I just think you are a Republican in what you think. Party registration doesn't matter. Your party stance is what you stand for. Why don't you just become a Repub since your posts almost completely agree with the right wing posters on here and almost completely disagree with the Dem posters? Doesn't make sense. Even Arch Moore was honest enough to admit he was a Repub.

The question is, why do you feel the need to act like a little child? How old are you, 8? Impersonating others so you can lie and claim things they never said is pretty pathetic, even for a child. And making multiple names so it appears many people actually think like you is rather childish also. Why cant you just stick with Melissa? The "proof by consensus" crap doesnt fly either. That is the same nonsense the global warming doomsdayers like to use. Everyone knows it is you making multiple names and it just makes you look like an idiot who cant defend their own opinion.

I would never be a Republican with their current stances on most issues and with their current leadership. I am a Democrat and most issues I agree with the Dems. I am not a mindless zombie though so like most normal free thinking people I dont agree with EVERYTHING the dems want. I voted for Obama twice but he has turned out to be the most lawless president in history and that is unacceptable. I know the media and our leaders want to make everyone pick a side and fight with eachother, but that is sill and not productive.
