The WV Film office is a useless organization. In the 4 years I have been a member they have never thrown work my once and I was the only one in the state that offered the services I do.
What I would get was a bunch of useless emails for cattle calls, or castings. Im not an actor. 9X's out of 10 they were films shot in wheeling or morgantown, never here in Huntington.
MYV show young people in a negative light? Are they serious? Thats all that station does!
As far as the tax rate goes, its hardly a competitive rate, otherwise there would be more interest in filming here.
Their organization is run by a woman who works hard and has good intentions, but she weighs about 400 pounds, so she doesnt get around much or well.
So when that organization complains that the young men would be viewed in a negative light I sort of have to laugh at the glowing contradiction.
