If Cooper didn't have the unrelated charges on Lester, this would have gone to trial and Lester would have won and Cooper and Plants and several others would have lost their jobs as they still should. I think the tax payers deserve to know the exact dollar amount that they paid for this entire investigation against Lester just for them to plea with him from 3 first degree murders to 1 second degree because they knew they would lose if it went to trial. They can air their case all they want to in the media but anyone that has any sense at all can see that they had nothing but jailhouse snitch statements. And everyone knows that a jailhouse snitch gets something in return for their statement, especially in a high profile case such as this one. I believe that is why you wont hear of anyone else being charged with anything in relation to this case. CPD and Plants were so gung ho against Lester that they signed deals with anyone and everyone that gave a statement about Lester.

I am sure that a lot of people "trash and druggies" know that Lester killed those people. He probably should be investigated for he missing Matheny girl also. Hard to tell how many bodies he left behind. The Lopez guy that fled from justice evidently is in this all the way but since they let Lester plea to just one murder, they probably won't jail the young Shaffer boy or try to find Lopez. The poem that Lester "supposedly stated to an ex girlfriend is also a statement of guilt. The girl should have turned him in then. Yes probably a lot of players should have been arrrested also but YES they were used as witnesses against a serial killer. Fear is he'll get out in less than ten years probably, then kill the witnesses. my my.

. No Lester pled because he committed the murders. Innocent men don't plee guilty. Lester didn't want mommy and daddy finding out what a monster they had raised. Besides he had George Castelle as a lawyer. Don Morris would wax his retarded a$$ in the court room . And as for Lt Steve Cooper Chief of Detectives he has never lost a case. I guess the police are the bad guys rite not Lester.
