Well I have a friend who gets her hair done there and they do a great job. I'm thinking of going there myself. Worth a try I suppose - for just a haircut and shampoo - can't hurt I suppose lol

I went to school there for Cosmetology and it was fantastic. I have been a successful cosemtologist for 7 years. Highly recommend!.

I'm really excited about attending. My financial aid is supposed to pay for everything, but should I order my books now or do I wait until I start attending? I'm new to this, so just looking for some insight.

It's a 17 month program or 2000 hours. You operate on Kanawha County's schedule.(Snow days,spring break.....)
I would just wait until you start to get your books and so on. You will love it. The instructors are wonderful ! Good Luck

I think the quality of beauty school depends a lot on what sort of education you're looking for and what your schedule is like. There are some more time-intensive schools that teach you really well and get you through school. There are also some more lenient schools that are also excellent. It makes sense to me to visit quite a few schools to see which one is the best fit for you. http://www.ellylukas.edu.au
