Instead of rude comments, know that he had a mother who loved him dearly. He died on what was his 26th birthday. Yes he overdosed. If you want to help them, send donations to Cunnigham-Parker-Johnson funeral home in Chase's name. He will be cremated, but his mother needs help. It doesnt matter if its 5 bucks, just anything. She is now childless and grieving a beautiful but tortured soul. Make a difference, dont be part of the gossip problem. Thank you!

R u kidding? Give money to his mom? LOL she is addicted to crack and meth. Plus, his grandma is on hydrocodiene. It's a huge circle of addiction within that family. The best you could do is donate to a rehab in chase Carter's name.

Nowhere did I say give money to his mom.NOWHERE!!! I said send it to the funeral home. People want to do something for Chase? Thats what they can do. As it stands right now, he cant even be cremated. You can call the funeral home first and make sure funds are still needed. Regardless of how he died, if people care about him, they will want to see him laid to rest with decency.

Smiling at memories

Memories of good times, are making me smile.
The sadness of what's happened, makes me frown.
Can't we all remember,
the good times, we all had
when our friend, was around.

Sure,.....
They were, pissed off nights,
But who's a friend, who doesn't fight
It isn't about any lowlife moments,
But, the time, he was among us.

Not a preacher, not that religious,
Woody Allen said, ain't no meaning to us,
Any good memory, and any good smile.
Will keep everyone, happy for awhile.

See ya next time Chase,.........
Wow

Damn anonymity, if you know that people called me dank you know who I am. This bashing on a dead friend is horrible, I may have talked shit a few years ago on the guy. But he was still my friend. If you haven't known the guy for ten or twelve years or more, that's why you have nothing good to say. Chase was my friend, and I will miss him. And I will laugh randomly, reminiscing of prior days......

Listen I don't care who this offends but the world is better off without him. He was a no good drug addict who had nothing to offer society but misery. Drug addicts will steal and lie and do almost anything for their next high and Chase I am sure was no different. The way I see it there's one less person out there stealing and ripping others off. So in actuality his death is a good thing for society.
If you dont care who this offends why would you post annoymously? Seems like you care a lot to go on a forum and state your opinion but pretty cowardly to do it behind a veil of anonymity. Drug addicts have a diesease, that can be treated. It seems that the treatment needed to compensate for the lack of strength you've displayed evident of your character, would be far more extensive.

Then STOP glorifying drug addicts. They get what they deserve. I wonder whomever the last person he stole from would be as forgiving as you?
HA sounds like he robbed you, but not because he was a drug addict but because you were a bitch. Ive never touched drugs in my life and id rob you

@Mechanical

A persons salary has nothing to do with right or wrong. I work and I work hard and I do not make tons of money, but by God I am sick and tired as well as millions of Americans of having my taxes go to support drug addicts who offer nothing positive to society. if you do not like what I said then I don't give a fu*K. And I do get the political side of it, but it's still a personal choice.

I gave two people on here the opportunity to express how Chase made a positive impact in their lives and neither one could do it. I wonder why? I wasn't asking much.

Men and women who take and abuse drugs do it willingly it is not a disease it is a life style choice. The overwhelming majority of Americans agree with that statement.

Opiate addiction is a disease just like alcoholism. This is a fact and yes it is a personal choice sometimes when a person starts sometimes not----people can become addicted fighting physical pain.
When someone passes away GOOD people feel empathy for the person and the family who is left to mourn.
I do not know Chase or his family but I can tell you this his family is mourning.

I need to offer everyone on this site a heart felt apology I really do mean this. I just read Chase's obituary and I truly felt something tug at my heart. Now I realize what I said about addiction and I have my own personal reasons for saying those things. I want to say to Chase's mother and other family members and friends that I am sorry for your loss and I hope God can help you get through these times. I am sure Chase had good in his heart it is obvious from the many friends he had and my words were not just unnecessary, but hurtful and I really do wish I could take them back. I really did feel something and I can't explain it other than it is necessary for me to apologize too first his mother and all else who knew him.

I was wrong and I truly do apologize especially to his loving mother. I am sure she loves him still and will forever.

God Bless Chase and all who knew and loved him.

I am sorry and now I am sad.
