I'm the parent of a friend of Chase's. Chase is young enough to be my son. He visited my home 3 weeks ago. This is a terrible tragedy, whether he was a repeat user or not. Avoid drugs.

Usually if your doing herion you are doing it with low life's that are just as high as you of course they will leave someone high and dry. I hate seeing people on that downward slope and it happens way too often! I coulda told ya he was outta control a year ago. As a parent I cannot imagine the devastation! Anyone with Drug Abuse issues needs to wake up and get help and i hope the loss of this percious life wakes you up!! There is so much more in life that can make you way happier than that temporary high! Deal with the underlying issue that makes you feel the need to get high and cut drugs out of your life then you can know true happiness!

Listen I don't care who this offends but the world is better off without him. He was a no good drug addict who had nothing to offer society but misery. Drug addicts will steal and lie and do almost anything for their next high and Chase I am sure was no different. The way I see it there's one less person out there stealing and ripping others off. So in actuality his death is a good thing for society.

Thats awful to say, at the end of the day he was human, he was someone's child, friend. I saw chase get up everyday and come to work, and he was thinking positive. Addicton is a disease, so no its not better for him being gone, he just needed help, just like all the other addicts out here. Be careful what you say, cause you never know through out your life who you'd know or it could be someone in your family who gets hooked on drugs, instead of being cruel, and negative this should be used to help others.

True statement, let's not remember him for his cause of death let's remember him for who he truly was. Chase never asked for anything, never stole , he was very aware of his addiction and was fighting it, heroin is a strong drug which effects your immune system, a lot of things are easier said than done.... Rip chase always and forever will I remember you....

I don't feel like getting into a war of words on this subject, but please, please stop saying drug addiction is a disease. Very few people including myself believes that non since. It is a lifestyle choice nothing more nothing less. Cancer is a disease. If you are diagnosed with cancer and the Dr tells you all it takes to get rid of it is to stop putting a needle in your arm and to stop stealing then I bet no one would have cancer anymore.

Well all Chase had to do was just that stop putting needles in his arm, but he chose to anyway, because he was a drug addict who as I said offered nothing to benefit society other than misery. We tax payers would have been supporting him for the next 50 years if he hadn't died.

Those are the facts and no they cannot be disputed.

Drug addiction is a life style choice not an addiction.
