Well in a lot of places things are being kept pretty quite but in some areas it is starting to get very loud. So how are things going in Wyoming county? Will the teachers strike on May first like a few other counties are planning on doing or are the teachers in Wyoming Happy with their pay scale and retirment?

I don't think teachers should strike. They know the payscale when they start teaching. Plus, I don't think across the board raises is right for teachers. Some teachers are not doing their job while others work overtime to do a good job. I know of one teacher who puts on videos for kids to watch and gives them "busywork" at their desks so she can sit at her desk and cross-stitch. It is teachers like this that make a lot of people mad when they start hollering for a raise. Give the ones who deserve a raise, a raise, the others shouldn't get one.

To tired of whinners, Yes sir we know our pay scale but what we are striking for is our retirement. Governor Manchin is trying to shaft us. If he can give raises to the corrupt Supreme Court Justices and Legislators he can give us teachers a raise too and settle our retirement discrepancies.
We need to strike May 1st but more importantly vote the crooks out on May 13th.

I think teachers need to strike!
It's inhumane for teachers not to have flushing privileges.
