I used to work up there and I know everybody in there. White trash is everywhere in W.V its a shame but i won't say anything else.

I don't believe that you "use" to work there and just know a lot of ppl there. What a shame, I do business there. Even though, the service is not usually great. I'm not trash or on welfare either. If this how the ppl there you know there sees their white customers, I'll take my business elsewhere.

Used as a verb. Use to + verb is a regular verb and means something that happened but doesn't happen any more. It uses -ed to show past tense. But since it always means something that happened in the past, it should always use past tense. For example- I used to go to school in Paris.(I went to school there before, but now I don't.) Or, When Joshua was a child, he used to climb trees.(Now he doesn't climb trees.)

Remember, we always use this word when talking about the past. So when do you use use to without the d at the end? When the base form of the verb is used. Look at these examples- She didn't use to swim before noon.(Now she does swim before noon.) Or Did your father use to ride a horse? In these cases the past tense is shown with the did and didn't.

I like eating there. The ribs are great. The collard greens are really great.

A lot of the sides other than the collard greens seem from a can.

My main complaint is sometimes they are open at lunch and sometimes not. Since I can't walk there that results in me driving and not getting to eat there.

The area is not the best statistically but I love going there and eating on the electrical spool dining area in front on sunny days. I've never had any problem and the folks who work there are super friendly and the location is actually nice.

Overall I like Sistas Rib Shack. Now the food begin at a later time to taste like what we buy at Sam's. I think they tried to "doctor" it up a bit, but the ribs were the best in Charleston. Yeah, have heard about the drugs being sold out of there, but drugs are everywhere. And not just on the West Side - they are on the East End, South Hills, North, ie Pinch, Elkview and etc. So don't give me that old bs about the west side. I do believe sistas has gone out of business tho.

They have a food truck set up at the old Tim Hortons location in cross lanes. I ate there this eve, barbecue pork sandwich was pretty good but the slaw, potato salad, and baked beans were all store bought, and there is trash piled up behind the building. Someone had a baby playpen set up and the people seemed sketchy, I think once will do me.

Yeah, the whole operation seemed very questionable, I won't be eating anymore of their food, plus the truck is gone now.

I've had Sistah's. I noticed they are doing the food truck thing which is good for Charleston. Someone said Dem Bros had the best ribs, I'm sorry you're mistaken. I do like their sauce but their meat is fatty and tough. Tastes like it comes from Save A Lot. I personally think Ridgeview BBQ in Institute does it right and Barnyard BBQ is second.
