You're very perceptive, aren't you? Making a marriage work is WORK and PLAY. I love it, and I love my life. Hate this show, but love my life. Afterall, it is what I've made it, right? Wonder what kind of life Salwa will end up making for herself? Hmmm. Guess we'll just wait and see, huh Dad?
You're a dam* weirdo.

OH! And for those of you who are even slightly interested (I know that excludes a bunch), you can see Salwa's mugshot if you Google Salwa Amin or you can just go to Google images and it pops right up. You'll LOVE it. It's classic. And that, my friends, is what the girl looks like without "hair and makeup" prep! Ha!
Three cents, You could be who you say you are, or you could be be a 7Th grade drop-out, not saying this is the case with you. You could be jealous of the girls on 'Buck wild' they are cute girls and appear to be having fun and enjoying themselves. I personally don't have to google these kids, fore I think all of them are nice looking kids, now you, none of us have seen you so we don't know what you look like, you could be beautiful or you could be not so nice looking. But who cares what you look like, you appear to be a nice person, so why are you giving these Girls a hard time? I have been reading post about this show and it seems as though the ones that are making your State look bad are the ones that are saying bad things about these kids. BTW I am a native of you beautiful State, and once was a teen and did many things as teens would do back in that day. Things haven't changed that much since I departed there in the seventies. This buck-wild thing will pass just as every thing else will, you will laugh about it and hopefully you will come to grips with it and have a different attitude as you get older and your kids morph into their teen years, it's then you will love them for what they are regardless of what they do.

It isn't my kids "morphing" into their teen years that bothers me - it's what kind of adults I send out into the world. Aren't we, as parents, supposed to prepare them to be productive, respectable members of society? Someone tell me if I'm wrong, because I was pretty darn sure that was my job as a mother. Anyway, I think I can handle their teens. Will it be easy? Surely not, but I am doing my best to discipline them as they grow - both incident and age appropriate. When they are teens, I will not put up with disrespect and their breaking the rules. Will they try me? They wouldn't be "teens" if they didn't.

However, I am the parent and always will be! Without me, they wouldn't have food and clothing and shelter. I owe them nothing more than that, so believe me, when they act up, they'll lose something - privileges, cell phones, freedom, whatever - but I won't ignore them and hope they go away. They will have boundaries. Then, when they become ADULTS like the "kids" on Buckwild, hopefully they will remember how they were raised and think of me and their father before acting like idiots in front of the whole nation! My girls are still little, but if one of them ever decided to flash their boobs at the world, I would KNOW I had done something wrong.

HOLY SHIT!! I just figured it out!! You're Salwa's less attractive & unpopular sister or cousin, and you're bitter that YOU aren't in the limelight!!

Suddenly all of your ridiculousness makes *a little* sense.

You're still nuckin' futz though.

I will tell you that you are wromg! You will have a job raising your kids, so why not leave the "Buck-wild kids to them selves"? And do the job as a mother and devote all this energy that you're wasting on Salwa and teach your own kids how to be 'PERFECT' children. Although you are going to fail, cause I have never, ever seen a perfect "TEEN" So please don't be disappointed. You've got one strike against you already, and that is, you are not perfect!

Who said anything about perfect? I don't have any such delustional thoughts. I wasn't a perfect teen nor do I expect my own kids to be perfect teens, especially since there is no such thing. In fact, I'm absolutely certain that they will test their boundaries every chance they get! Here's the difference though - they will actually HAVE boundaries! This bunch? Clearly - their parents failed to give them any such thing or the least bit of discipline. Did they instill any respect for themselves or their families? How about morals and values? What about pride and/or self worth? All - seriously lacking!

I can assure you that I will require my teens to show respect for themselves and for others. No, I won't require them to be perfect, but they WILL be respectful at the very least. Once they turn 18? They can do as they please, BUT if they can't respect themselves and/or their family? They can get the HELL out of my house and pay their own bills. The last thing I will tolerate is a sh*tty attitude, bad language and even worse behavior. It's called being "the parent" and too many adults today have forgotten how. They allow their kids to rule their home. Parents who allow that are dumber than a box of rocks.
