as long as teachers and all government officials get tested too. there is a myth that all your tax money is going to pay off lazy drug addicts on welfare but that is just not true. most of you tax dollars go to healthcare for elderly. a different kind of drug addicts. only 2% percent of your tax dollars go to welfare. sorry to bust the rich bubble.

Yes! I have to pass one to work, and pay my taxes, so if someone is sitting at home using up my taxes, they should have to take one, too. Maybe if we start monitoring who gets these benefits, some of them would actually get a job.

I agree I work everyday and I have to take a drug test to support my family and pay for the lazy bunch to sit around and stay drugged up all day and night. They can get money for the dope get a job you lazy people. There are people out there that really need the help and you are taking it away from them.

wow - big difference IN OLD people getting meds and people addicted to food, alcohol, etc. don't usually kill to get money for it.

The drug tests would pay for themselves if all State and County workers and receivers of all HELP - from HUD - food stamps had to stay clean to get a check, benefits - whatever. No druggies, crime rate goes down - no runs to ER for overdoses by people who can't pay - nor taking victims of their assaults to hospital, etc.

Problem is WHAT TO DO WITH THE KIDS if food and money and help is taken from a family? We don't have orphanges run by nuns in this area for free or anything. It's a good train of thought, but we may go broke before we realize a savings - just like the stock market people huh?

I know people who have lost good paying jobs as the drugs were more important than their responsibilities to take care of their families - thus - MORE GOES ON WELFARE roles when that happens, for people lose their homes, cars, savings the works without income coming in the household.

because they don't have to kill or steal to get their stuff it's legal. you just made my argument. if it was legal it would be much easier and cheaper to get.
... not so burnt out.
