Will Joe Manchin support a bill banning Pressure Cookers in Wva. He can just add them to his gun bill.

Multiple explosive devices built & deployed in a crowd of thousands.....three dead, multiple injuries.

One AR in a suburban elementary school. 20 children + 6 adult staff members dead.

If you don't see a difference, you can't be helped.

Do you know how many people were murdered with Hammers last year. If you don't know then you can't be helped either Cars killed more people last year than ARs. Who has called for a ban on cars?? Do you get my point??? If you don't you can't be helped either. Look up statistics on death??? You can't ban everything. You need to educate the public on causes. Instead of hiding guns you need gun education not gun free zones.

There was a 95 vehicle pile up on I-77 due to fog. Are they banning all vehicles??? Don't go to the extreme when trying to correct a problem. Guns aren't the problem. People are the problem. Every time someone dies are you going to ban the problem??

If we lose the second amendment we are lost. When the Government fears the people you have democracy, when the people fear the government you have dictatorship.

OK - don't necessarily disagree. So - a bi-partisan proposal gets put forth requiring background checks on gun show purchases & online purchases. Pretty reasonable, right?

What's the response? "They're takin' ur gun rights away!" "Fire Manchin!"

Can't have a reasonable discussion when it comes to God, or guns.

The 2nd amendment was written when guns were needed to form a militia against attacks by England. Now that attacks threatening the nation will likely happen via nuclear warheads, what good are some pistols and rifles going to do? I don't believe that anyone other than law enforcement or military NEED guns. If you want to hunt, learn to shoot a bow. You aren't going to stop a nuclear missile threatening our nation using an AR-15. They need to take all civilian owned guns away. PS - I own guns and will readily give them up.

@2nd amendment
In a perfect world your argument might have some validity but this is far from a perfect world. If you had your way only the criminals would have the guns. Also you trust the government a lot more than I do.

I don't oppose handguns for personal protection. Guns for home defense. Guns for hunting.....sport.....target. Giggles. Whatever. I support free and open carry of firearms.

What I do think, however----is that Military grade weapons should --in my opinion--be used for military purposes. Not sold at gunshows or online to anybody that so desires to own one.

I can't go buy an M-4 with full auto & a grenade launcher equipped under the barrel. I want one. Can't have one. There is a reason. It's a military weapon. To me-an assault rifle falls under that category. But I don't make the rules, & I just get one vote.

If the criminals actually use their guns, theoretically, wouldn't they all eventually be confiscated or tossed in the river after being used in a crime? Also, if our government wants rid of it's citizens (which is where their money comes from) small handheld firearms aren't going to be able to stop them. Sorry to say.

Also, if guns are all taken, where are criminals going to get ammunition? Guns don't work without bullets and I'm sure the street thugs aren't too keen on proper reloading practices. And they will run out of brass, unless they pick them up at the crime scene after a shoot out. LMAO

That's funny. Come and get em. They're loaded and you can get a nice view down the barrel when you show up. I'm willing to hand them over to the government if it means people will stop being shot/killed by others who aren't responsible enough to own or handle a gun.

Obviously you don't understand the second amendment...

If the semis are military grade, why doesn't the military use them?

BTW, you can legally own a M4, for about $15,000, another $5k for the 203

I hate a poser troll
