When are people going to learn that drunk driving kills and ruins people's lives. So sad innocent people have to pay for irresponsible adults making bad decisions.

People will only learn when it is too late; i.e. when someone close to them or they specifically get seriously injured or injure someone else and are facing jail time.

It is very interesting to note that I am aware of several people that have been charged with 3 DUI's or more, have their license revoked, and still make the personal choice to drive drunk. PATHETIC!!

We in the United States have the tendency to coddle criminals no matter what the crime that they actually have done. It is rather pathetic in comparison to other countries legal systems around the world.

Unfortunately the law is the law. You cannot punish someone for what might happen. You can punish them for driving drunk because it is illegal but you cannot punish them because they might hurt or kill someone If thatÂ’s the case then speeding and other traffic violations should have stiffer penalties. What about texting and talking on the phone????

This is not a true statement. Not even close. What in the world are you basing this statement on?

Now there's a true statement! Plenty of evidence out there states the reasonable conclusion is actually cell phone use/texting is 5 times more likely to cause a fatal accident than driving while over the legal limit of alcohol.

No one will touch that one though, you watch. It doesn't fit into the "Hey, everybody get pissy and irate over drunk drivers" motif.

Hell, I don't condone any of it, but the fact are the facts.

I don't agree with drunk driving but where are you getting your info? Its not true at all. We have the largest prison population in the world.
