I know that some of you reading this have been molested by him. Your molestor wants nothing more than for you to keep this to yourself. He is not the only pedophile living in Charleston. My Ex husband was found by DHHR to have molested my son. When I tried to report it to Detective Dodd of the Charleston Police dept.'whom I was told to contact', He said to me,'You are just a disgruntled ex wife trying to get her husband in trouble. Don't you dare call here again or I will press charges against you for filing a false police report.' I had the paperwork right in my hand and my son's independent testimony.
I did not know that he had been molested until I was contacted by the school and DHHR. He had reported to another adult.
But, Thanks to Detective Dodd, he is free, no charges were ever pressed and once our divorce was final, he hooked up with a girl who had a couple of small children.
He brought her to our divorce hearing and I warned her in the presence of the police and the judge, that it was not her he was interested in, it was her children and showed her the documentation to prove it.
He didn't want a woman with no children.
After many years of counseling we are both doing better. But I still hate him for what he done, and I still think Detective Dodd should have been fired for his attitude and lack of action.

I am so sorry that your son experienced this. You are doing the right thing by having him undergo counseling. I wish you and your son nothing but relief from this.

About your ex, pedophiles will search out opportunities to put themselves alone with children. Scott King applied for a cub scout troop in Welch, WV but was rejected. Can you imagine what he had in mind for those children in the woods? Then he organized school trips with only himself as the adult supervision. Two people have responded telling me that their brothers were molested by him in a hotel room, one waking up with Scott taking pictures of him and the other waking up with Scott rubbing the boys shoulders. You can guess what happened next because the boys wouldn't talk after that.

Any victim of these kinds of crimes should report it the police as soon as possible do not leave these kinds of freaks free to harm other children.

I was afraid for years to talk about what he did. Now I am completely honest about it. The best thing about it is I have a relationship with a wonderful woman who knows exactly what Thomas Scott King did to me. I don't feel I have to cover up for a pedophile anymore. She knows I deal with it on a day to day basis and she loves me for having the courage to face it.

If you were raped by Thomas Scott King, everything you have to fear is in your head. Please come forward and speak to the authorities about what he did. I promise you your life will get better in leaps and bounds if you'll only get honest with yourself.

As Scott's son, I can tell all of you here that I never once saw my father abuse anyone, including myself.

My uncle is a drug abusing nutcase. Why don't you ask Casey here about bringing crack into his household, and what happened with his wife? Or Casey, how about the time I came to visit you guys in your new house in SC and you tried to get me to go find pot for you?

There is alot more to this story than just Casey's accusations. I don't speak to that entire family anymore because they are all batshit crazy.

Ever since I was a small child in Algoma, that family has been nothing but a nightmare: Lies, infighting, stealing, etc. Their mother was a drunk, and their father was a womanizer, so it is no real shock to discover that the King family is a complete mess.

I have spent years trying to get away from them all, only to have my uncle publishing falsehoods about me using my full name. I have written him numerous times to have him stop this, but of course, he doesn't.

But then Casey, I guess your father's money is more important to you than truth.
