Just exactly where is this kingdom of paradise? How come we can't see it? Is it way off into outerspace? if so, then how do you get there?

again, how come we can't see it. Why did God give us all these do's and dont's yet he gave us no proof of an afterlife or where it's located.

Bible is the proof and it sounds like you have no faith. Faith is the number 1 key into heaven and without it you wont be able to make it there

It doesn't exist. Unfortunately out imaginations and brains are so powerful that when we pass we can trick ourselves into thinking we are in heaven or hell.

Can you imagine how difficult it would be to create the heavens and the earth and all the seas and especially life and all it entails. And all you ask in return is to be good and obey Gods law and you will be rewarded with Heaven. Yet" with all God created he decided to show no proof, not even a smidgen of proof, as to where heaven is or if it really exists at all.

Don't worry about it, it something you will never see, but it's going to e an eye opener where you're going. Good Luck, you will need it and then some.

Are you saying i am going to go to a place called hell and burn and burn for all eternity? Where is hell? Is it on earth or up in the sky somewhere? Again, why not just give a man a glimpse of where these places are. If you go to hell do you go in your same body? How about clothes? And if you do get your body back befoe you go to hell after it burns are you dead again?

Instead of allowing untold billion of souls to be destined to hell for eternity, why not just kill Satan in the beginning and we all would be headed for the pearly gates. Right?

I think it's situated right between Santa's workshop at the North Pole and the Easter Bunny's Lair.

Read below - enjoy your book of lies and keep telling yourselves "I'm going here when I die, to this happy place in the clouds...but you're going to a bad place to burn, because you did this or that" based on how this book written by liars guided you to judge others while telling you not to judge anyone.

"And here is the truth: Many of the books of the New Testament were written by people who lied about their identity, claiming to be a famous apostle -- Peter, Paul or James -- knowing full well they were someone else. In modern parlance, that is a lie, and a book written by someone who lies about his identity is a forgery.

Most modern scholars of the Bible shy away from these terms, and for understandable reasons, some having to do with their clientele. Teaching in Christian seminaries, or to largely Christian undergraduate populations, who wants to denigrate the cherished texts of Scripture by calling them forgeries built on lies? And so scholars use a different term for this phenomenon and call such books "pseudepigrapha."

You will find this antiseptic term throughout the writings of modern scholars of the Bible. It's the term used in university classes on the New Testament, and in seminary courses, and in Ph.D. seminars. What the people who use the term do not tell you is that it literally means "writing that is inscribed with a lie."

It may be one of the greatest ironies of the Christian scriptures that some of them insist on truth, while telling a lie. For no author is truth more important than for the "Paul" of Ephesians. He refers to the gospel as "the word of truth" (1:13); he indicates that the "truth is in Jesus"; he tells his readers to "speak the truth" to their neighbors (4:24-25); and he instructs his readers to "fasten the belt of truth around your waist" (6:14). And yet he himself lied about who he was. He was not really Paul."

Like I said, don't worry about it. To get to the Farther you have to believe in what is son did for us, so don't worry about it.

I would love to know more about your personal relationship. Does he talk to you? Does he answer your prayer? When he doesn't do you make the excuse that it wasn't his will?

I don't knock any beliefs Cosmos as long as it stays out of my government.

It didn't take long for a weak-willed coward to chime in on the discussion. Why is that the unemployed angry atheists find forums like these so quickly? And why are they instantly so dishonest?

Many believe heaven exists in a parallel universe. The idea of a parallel universe has basically been proven by scientists very recently. I think that finding a way to present the results in a way most of us can comprehend is proving more difficult.

And that government without Christianity has collapsed and become very corrupt. Why can you not see this?

God will provide us with a new heavens and earth containing the new heavenly city called the New Jerusalem. It's there that God will dwell among us.

Heaven's Location
A Real Place?

Q. Does the Bible tell us where Heaven is? Where do most Christians go when we die? Is there an actual location for heaven? Or is it a state of mind?(J.M., Mt. Vernon, WA)

Answer:

A Progression of Revelation

Fun question - thanks for asking.

At first I didn't think there was an answer. But, we need to remember that "heaven" is a progression of revelation within the Bible.

Currently, God resides in heaven - which seems to exist outside of time and space as we know it. Later, God will provide us with a new heavens and earth containing the new heavenly city called the New Jerusalem. It's there that God will dwell among us.

Satan's famous "I Will" Verses

There are several verses to consider when exploring the question of where heaven is currently located. One of the most specific is found in Isaiah 14:13. This is a passage that refers to Satan's "I will" statements. Surprisingly, within those is a reference to heaven's location. Let's read it:

"But you said in your heart,
'I will ascend to heaven.
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God,
And I will sit on the mount of assembly
in the recesses of the
north.'"

Beyond the Stars in the North

Read slowly through these statements. Because from them we can glean several facts about heaven.

1. Heaven is "up." (I will ascend to heaven).

2. Heaven is beyond the stars in outer space (above the stars).

http://www.remnantreport.com/cgi-bin/imcart/r...

3. Heaven is in the northern area of space (recesses of the north).

A Hole in Northermost Universe

Scientists say that there is a "hole" in the northernmost part of the universe. It's possible that heaven is beyond that - about 21 light years away from us (Balsiger 2005, 71).

Job 26:7 tells us, "He stretches out the north over empty space and hangs the earth on nothing." Some feel that the "stretched out" space in the north may contain heaven, while the rest of the verse refers to earth suspended by gravity (by itself an incredible scientific fact).

A Parallel World or Dimension

Heaven may also exist in a parallel world or dimension. Quantum physicists claim that there are many parallel universes. Furthermore, Jesus clearly stated, "My kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36). His statement may mean far more than we think.

Some biblical characters speak of the "heavens opening" before them. For example, Stephen said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God" (Acts 7:56).

Peter, James and John saw Jesus transfigured into brilliant white light along with Moses and Elijah - right in front of them (Matthew 17:2-3).

Elisha told his servant not to fear the surrounding enemies because "those who are with us are more than those who are with them" (2 Kings 6:16).

It appears that physicists are right. There is an entire multiverse and beings existing around us in the here and now. Fantastic!

Outer Space

In the Bible's progressive revelation the heavens are part of the universe. Isaiah 65:17 says..."I create new heavens and a new earth..." Genesis 1:1 states, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

The two verses above refer to what we call "outer space" plus the earth. God promises to renew or recreate the original universe mentioned in Genesis 1:1 as He originally intended it prior to the Fall.

WOW! You bought it hook line and sinker. Go ahead and live your life according to a book of fables written by a bunch of old wrinkled up men who were just trying to scare the masses into giving up things and giving them to them.
And i will enjoy my life to the fullest with wine, women and song. You only get a shot at life once and to waste it living by a silly code as the bible is just.......just...well...just. ...

Ok so first question is who says I am unemployed? Second is what makes you think I am angry. And last is why do you think that the government is collapsing due to no christianity. There have been nations long before you came around that had risen and fallen under many different religions.
I am not angry at anyone I just disagree that religion and government should mix. And it's because I am from the outside looking in now. I used to be pentecostal and was on my way to becoming a minister so I understand where you are coming from but I am not sure why you accuse me of things that are genuinely untrue. I was cynical in one of my previous responses about relationships but that doesn't make me angry.....
