Police: Plants involved in child custody incident 0 0 Police were called to John Adams Middle School early Wednesday evening in response to a child custody issue involving Kanawha County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Plants, officers said.Charleston police responded to multiple 911 calls, then made the determination to notify West Virginia State Police, Charleston Police Lt. Shawn Williams said.“Once we realized who it was and what was going on, we decided to hand it over to State Police,” he said.Plants is facing misdemeanor charges alleging he struck his son with a belt and violated a domestic protective order that said he was not to have contact with his children or ex-wife, Allison Plants.State Police conducted the investigations that lead to those charges.Plants’ son was with his father and wanted to leave so he texted his mother, Allison Plants. She attempted to pick him up at the school, according to State Police Spokesman Lt. Michael Baylous.“We did not find any violation of the law nor were we told by the family law judge that there was any violation,” he said. Baylous said police found no indication of violence and no arrests were made.Reached Wednesday, Mark Plants and Allison Plants declined to comment. Members of the Kanawha County Commission last week voted to file a petition to have Plants removed from office because of the increasing costs of paying a special prosecutor to handle cases Plants is barred by a court order from taking. As a part of a deal with a special prosecutor handling charges against him, Plants agreed to participate in a batterer’s intervention program in Putnam County. After the 32-week program, Plants’ charges may be dropped. Putnam County Prosecutor Mark Sorsaia said Wednesday Plants has not yet enrolled in the program. var totalcount = 1; var countLimit = 6; var adZone ='news'; var count =$("#articleParagraph p").length; var halfCount = Math.floor(count/2); var instory =$("#instory-ad").ht ml(); if(halfCount >= countLimit){$('#articleParagra ph p').each(function(i,e){ if (i+1 == halfCount){$(this).before(' <div id="ad_instory" ></div>'); $("#ad_instory").add Class('right'); $("#ad_instory").css ('padding','0 0 1em 1em'); }}); $('#ads_instory ins').each(function(i,e){// alert($(this).html()); }); $("#instory-ad").emp ty(); } googletag.cmd.push(function(){ googletag.display('ad_instory' )}); - See more at: http://www.wvgazette.com/article/20140730/GZ0...

you can delude yourself all you want.
The truth is Mark Plants could be running for the Circuit Judge vacancy by retiring Judge Zakaib....but no it isn't to be.
Mr Plants will find it very difficult to win the republican primary in any race much less a general election.----even BOE just ask vic sprouse!
