The ROARING 20's on Hale street. Man the babes were hot as hell in that joint. With the music and disco lights all over the place those lovely girls looked like they were gliding as they walked by

What was the name of that gay club that was on Broad Street close to where Appalachian Power park is now. Right next to the big flower warehouse? Boy I sure had some fun in that joint. One bathroom and all the drugs you could do and more. They had Drag Queen Nights and all kinds of wild and crazy things.

Thank you very much I was going crazy trying to think of that place. Boy the memories that place brings back. Let's just say I didn't receive my first "Ah Hum" there, but I gave my first " Ah HUM" there and I aint looked back since.* Three snaps* You go girl.

And the drugs were everywhere, I did my first line of cocaine and my first hit of ectasy in that love den and though I was touched by an angel and the music was to die for. Donna Summer and Cher on the loud speakers and pictures of that Hunk that sang for Wham plastered all over ther place.

I can hear Donna Summer singing BAD GIRL right now with the disco lights flying all over the place and those boys in those tight leather pants shaking and gyrating all over the dance floor

Yes the Grand Palace was the place to be in the late 70's and 80's!

Wasn't Spanky's in Huntington in the 80's and 90's? Also, Timothy's (downtown Charleston) is the "fun place" to be on Friday and Saturday nights these days IF you are really tired (sick and tired) of the whole "meat market" scene. It's really fun to go with a group of friends anyway. Had their Rueben this past weekend, and it was the best I've had anywhere in town - seriously. The music was good, and the service was awesome!
