Wrong again, the 2nd Amendment clearly states that the subject of the 2nd Amendment clearly states; "A WELL REGULATED Militia, being necessary for the SECURITY of a free State, shall not be infringed". The right to keep and bear Arms is directed to the States (The People) to have a WELL REGULATED Militia, being necessary for the SECURITY of a free State. nunya, it is in fact indivuals like yourself and the NRA that is circumventing the subject and the meaning of the 2nd Amendment, "A WELL REGULATED MILITIA". I personally view the 2nd Amendment as obsolete and having no reference to modern day Laws. I do recognize all indivual Citizens have the right to self-protection and is afforded the right to possess firearms for the sole reason of protecting ones self, Family and Neighbors. This comes under the given right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. No weapon of Mass Destruction should be made available to the general public like auto or semi-automatic weapons with large capacity magazines or clips that can be used to slaughter innocent Women and Children. The NRA should go the way of the KKK, I see no difference in either lobbying group.

You can't recall a Governor of West Virginia. In fact, many state and county officials are not subject to recalls. Sounds like some of our elected officials are more concerned about their job security than citizens' wishes and desires. Any elected official should be subject to recall.

The 2nd amendment concerns individual rights. It's part of the bill of rights; nothing to do with either state or federal powers.

Governments do not have rights, they have powers granted to them by the only ones with rights - the govern.

Alcohol and cigarettes are not items made to kill. Guns are made to kill. If you can take a AR-15 and kill 20 Children and 6 Adults, I call that mass destruction. The two bombs in Boston and the huge explosion in Texas killed a total of 17 people, which would you call a weapon of mass destruction? The number to be killed to be classified as a disaster is 5. 29 coal miners killed in a coal mine explosion, it is called a disaster, not an act of mass destruction. Guns are made to kill, not alcohol or cigarettes.

Read the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The 2nd Amendment; A well regulated Militia, necessary for the security of a free State.

There is no individual or individuals in the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear Arms. Corporations are not People.
