Be careful driving through Aynor, on 501, on your way to Myrtle Beach. The town's speed trap is designed to cash in on your vacation. The cops sit across from McDonald's... Just sayin!

Many tourist routes actually do have speed traps...where the speed suddenly changes from 55/60 to 35/40, and the sign isn't prominent. I imagine they generate a lot of revenue this way from travelers
