Has anyone tried the new Japanese resteraunt in Kanawha City??

I'd like to try it out, but want to know what others think first.

Real expensive if you eat in the Hibachi area of the place. Food is not great but the hilljacks eat it up. I Guess its like going to Disneyland or something for them. Basically the same thing as the Hibachi at Southridge with a new look. If you want to try it place a lunch order to go or save your money and go to the place on the 3rd floor of the Town Center...it's better.

Fujiyama is the BEST! great food and service! It is no more expensive than hibachis. The new restaurant on the East End SUCKS! Went there on Sunday and my food was cold and my steak was not cooked to order. The manager ask me if he could put my food in the microwave. MICROWAVE!!!! I will not be going back there!!

You misspelled restaurant.

And yea I gave Fujiyama a try and it was just borderline ok. The food was average the atmosphere somewhat descent and the staff seemed to be trying, but could have amped it up a bit. The prices as expected were just a wee bit high, but because the building and all the trim in new it seemed nicely decorated. Will I go back in the future? LIkely so" somewhere along the line, probably if or when a relative comes to visit and wants to exoeriment with the place.

All in all i'll give it a 6 out of a possible 10

It's an amazing Resturant, I recommend going there. Don't let negative Nancy's sway your decision.

Hibachi should be called Japanese-laxative. I can't even make it through desert before I'm blowing their toilet apart spray-style!

fujiyama is nowhere near the level of Hibachi.... The food sucks, the salads suck, even the soup sucks... It is about 1/3rd cheaper than hibachis and it shows in the quality.... I won't be going back...
