Two hours after the burial. I'm serious. Your spouse would want you to move on and be happy and you need to move on and be happy, so why not ASAP! After my wife passed two years ago i asked a neighbor lady out for coffee and conversation a few hours after my wife cindy was buried. The lady chose not to go, but i made an effort. The next night i went to the Charleston Moose and met a lady and we dated for about 4 months. The faster you move on the better. Goodluck.

Why would you want to wait two hours?

I say wait till the paramedics have left unless you see one that is hot. Grab it while you can. Someday you will be lying in a hospital or nursing home thinking about all the big ones that got away. You old men take heed too. Granny always told me "the older the buck, the stiffer the horn." As for me, I'd have my teeth out while the paramedics were still there.

24 to 48 hrs after death! Take your new partner to the viewing and funeral so your spouse can get a look at your new partner!

After you get confrimation of death get those smoking drawyers off and find someone to get it on with. Call the NAACP. They will provide someone.

I think there are a lot of things that should be factored into a surviving spouses' decision to move on. Are there children involved? If so, what are there ages? hat should be one of the biggest issues to consider when making this type of decision. Are you ready emotionally to let go of the remnants of the relationship or are there issues you should deal with alone first before bringing someone else into your life and your bedroom.
