I recently learned that a lot of cities and small towns are suing their state for allowing gas companies to do Hydraulic Fracturing in their communities, which poses enormous health risks on the children and the families in the area. Most states and cities have banned fracking, but WV has not.

You may want to take a look at this legal website, especially, if you aren't getting anywhere with all those letters you've been writing to our state legislatures:

,,,,, well we pretty much ruin coal mining in wva, now if we can get rid of all the drilling for oil and gas then we can just lock up the state and all move! No one is gonna live forever but there gonna have to have a job to live or welfare, wait no jobs means no taxes for welfare, hum

Some water companies are senting letters to towns saying to boil water before cook or drinking it. The water is coming from the potomac river when boiled it has a film on top of the water. A greasy film. All waters are connected like veins in a body. This water is being sold has safe to drink and bathe in. I'am sure the bill is not reduced because they are having to boil it.

Gas man not everyone wants to die from tained waters. You made be getting a payday from them but we are not so why should we have to suffer from it's effects.

Water I don't want to die from anything, just like most people, but I like most people have to work to survive ! Be it in oil field coal mine chemical plant or truck driving , so give it a break people, dam

Most hiree are out of state worker, they aren't hiring instate workers. So why should the workers care about our state.

I know a lot of instate workers, I also know a lot of instate employees that work out of state on the rigs, forum wasn't about workers it was about fracking, as far as the ambulance chasing lawers that's about anything nowadays, everyone is sue happy looking for an easy buck

Some violations by these gas companies are posted on the WVDEP website. The website is not user friendly and it is very difficult to find much information. You can see some of the violations listed if you know how to look for them.

I think some of our state officals have moneies in the fracking bussiness, so they hand are dirty. And they eyes are closed to violations.

I known a guy what does their surveying he said all the workers that he seen has been out of texas up north. You known it just a job for them. So they don't care how much damages they do in our state.
