I am a customer of 10x Media which is located in Orem, UT. I have been trying to reach them for days. Do you know if they have gone out of business or why they do not return their phone calls?

To my knowledge they went bankrupt. Thank goodness, what a poorly run company.

From what I've heard from more recent employees, they went bankrupt. Not a surprise after working there myself. They have a president with no business sense nor ethics.

My organization paid for services never rendered and we filed a complaint with the BBB of Utah. I just received a letter in the mail today informing me that the company has a sizeable tax lien and they were removed from their prior office location. I have their current location as 105 South States PMB 610 Orem UT 84097.

I also have been trying to get a refund from this company and was told I had to wait 8 months. It is now 8 months and you are telling me they went bankrupt. Who is their president? Perhaps we can sue him personally. Let me know and I will check it out.

Yes the company is bankrupt. Don't waste your time suing. The company had almost no assets to sell and the money priority was 1. Government 2. Investors 3. Employees 4. Customers and everyone else . Before the debts for #4 the company was almost $2 million in the hole. The only assets the company had were about 20 refurbished computers- no joke. Anyone who is suing is wasting their money in attorney fees. |

Do you know who the owners are or the investors? You are from Linden, NJ, but they are from UT? |
||||
They are from UT and I am from UT but am traveling at the moment. You can go to www.10xmedia.com and find out who the CEO is. The investors were several and if you do enough searching will find out some of the names, however it won't do any good because 10x was setup as a LLC. That means the owner is not liable and definetly not any investors. Thus the only entity to sue is 10x media the corporation which has nothing to sue over. It's times like these where it is best just to cut your losses and move on. |

Companies like this should not be able to go to real estate conventions and act like they are the best things since sliced bread. On the other hand if the deal sounds too good to be true it probably is. Well, there goes $2000 down the tube. But my website is still there in cyberspace. Anyone have any ideas?
|

SEO services for the most part are unreliable. The reason 10x media and others bomb is because search engines are constantly changing their search criteria. With a real estate market like this, now is not the time to be spending on SEO work. Do traditional media tactics like newspaper ads, billboards and different media sponsorships which potential home buyers will see your Web site and increase your traffic. Additional traffic will eventually increase your rankings. Also, do back links with other real estate related sites or even other brokers.
Good luck |

Since the company went belly up, I cannot modify the website at all. Luckily I have another website withh Z-57. What is the spin on Z-57. They are always there for me and have ideas similar to former employee from Linden
|
||||
|
Unfortunately, the website doesn't list the owners/officers anymore. And I agree, the convention staff need to know about this. Let's hope they are registered to participate this year!

My mother who is a real estate agent also got scammed by this company for $4500. The services were never rendered and she never even signed the official contract. But they still went ahead and charged $4500 toward her credit card. She demanded a refund for many months and they gave her the run around that "The person in the finance department who handles refunds was fired so there will be delay in refund" This was obvious BS and now i find out that they went bankrupt. I honestly cant believe the crap these kind of BS companies pull.

http://www.10xmedia.com/history.html - Per the 10x website Wendy Hudman is the founder. One of you former employees should know who the owner or president was. There has got to be something we can do - so many of us received nothing for our money.
Below is the reply I received from the Utah Better Business. We should all write a letter of complaint to the Consumer Protection Agency. I heard there were over 90 complaints to Better Business. Maybe someone will look into this for us. "Thank you for contacting the Better Business Bureau of Utah. The agency that you would actually most likely want to contact would be the Division of Consumer Protection. They regulate the sales laws for the state of Utah. They also are over the lemon laws of purchasing a car, door to door sales, and telemarketing. After doing all of this, they also take complaints, and can tell you what your rights are as a consumer." |

One more thought - LLC's protect the owners against their debts and liabilities but does it protect them when there is fraud? This company took our money and gave us nothing in return. Where did all the money go?
|

We have been trying to get a refund from this company since March, and of course, no one is returning phone calls and they have all gone MIA. The last time I was able to get someone on the phone was in May. What an unethical way to run and burn a company and a lot of employees, customers and investors.

We had the same situation as everyone else with 10 x media- I called the Utah Dept of Commerce in Utah and spoke with Kent
http://www.commerce.utah.gov/ He had me fax a letter about my experience and a copy of the contract. He said the state is trying to go after the owner personally- and make the case fraud. So I suggest anyone else that can contact him and fax the info because if the State agrees the DA will need all of the evidence to get our money back!! |
