Why is this dispute news in Park City? Why didn't we get a comment from Kenny G on this? Is this Kenny's "worst fear realized"? Why was the term "embattled ASC" not used in this article?

Park Record staff,
Don't listen to Parkite.
Please continue to report the news.
This town is on pins and needles and we need good information on what the heck is happening with the local economy and local businesses. This article is important.
Thanks

I don't think many if any listen to jagoff Parkite - a lonely conservative passive agressive tool shooting his mouth off by trolling around the parkrecord forums.
This IS real news for anyone living in town. Considering the presence talisker has in this community many, many people will be affected one way or another by a talisker conflict.

Parkite isn't clued in to the significance of this Talisker story. The Canyons is very critical to the future of Park City. Talisker appears to be on the verge of collapse. When notices go up on the door, it is a harbinger of bad things to come 10 times out of 10. Analagous to canaries in the mine.

When a company like Talisker that is supposed to be investing $100 plus million into one of PC's core properties can't even pay thousands of dollars for rent, they obviously don't have the financial resources to take on the Canyons.

Looks like Griswold is going to be the last man standing on the Canyons.

Talisker is a RE developer right? No other significant diversification?

Either this "Parkite' is an idiot or completely conflicted. How can he possibly not realize the impact of Talisker in PC economy in terms of real estate, ski resort and as an overall major player? He would blame Griswold even if his dog pees on the sidewalk. Eviction notice to Talisker's office has NOTHING to do with Kenny Griswold and yet he just want to blame Griswold for everything. As an owner of the business on Main Street, i welcome any informed news and fact. Thank you Park Record.

Parkite is indeed an idiot, but are you sure he is conservative? I suppose it doesn't matter, right-wing or left-wing does not an idiot unmake.

Doesn't Talisker have huge water rights from the mines or is that another group?

I wonder if Vail is still interseted in the Canyons? I worry that if Talisker is indeed broke, the Canyons resort will suffer and I love the Canyons. I heard there was a hearing on a golf course that was supposed to be built but it seems like nothing ever happened there either. Frustrating!

American ski co should have sold The canyons to Vail. 1)By selling it to Vail, the canyons would get out of debt and 2) look how well vail has been doing in the past years, vail is defently the best choice

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Aries

Financial muddles are more than likely today so be careful if you're going shopping. You might be accidentally short-changed or there could be a misunderstanding about how much something costs. This isn't a good day to lend friends anything valuable in case they don't return it or they damage it in some way. Better safe than sorry.
