I don't know which has lower discipline in the ranks, the air force or the navy, both are notorious for being REMFS.

I have worked on the Naval Weapons Station for the last 10 years. Do something stupid and see how fast these so called "security guards" put the cuffs on you and haul you in. These guys are in charge of security at a highly classified military base and they have the requisite arms training to go with it.

Just a quick question... when did you live there? I assume if you lived there you were military or a dependant and therefore know what the rules are in regards to the entry of visitors which includes police personnel not on official business.

I used to live there, and let me tell you, those security guys think they are god's gift. They feel like they can tell anyone to do anything, and have little regard for actual police officers. A dear friend was a State Trooper, and when coming to see us on base, had a lengthy argument about his police car, his sidearm, his uniform, and his attitude. The security guy was promptly sent home and our friend got intense apologies from the supervising guard...but it happens a LOT.
