Anyone remember having Miss Lavender as an elementary school teacher? Eloise Lavender (b 1913 - d 1980) taught school somewhere in or near Charleston, from about 1933 to 1970-ish. For family history, I would dearly love to know which school(s) where she worked or any info. Later she married Ira 'Bedford' Burns, but most, if not all, of her teaching years were before she married.
