I never said I thought it was wrong or right, just simple. It does require weeding out the more idealistic and less tainted politicians. There is no selective criteria at all except that the targets be politicians. Just group them together in one simple group. Those that are to be hung or those that are hanged. It depends on where you are in the process. It is simple solution that does not require much thought. Other means would require more energy, thought, effort and direction. I admit most people like simple, effortless solutions that address their emotive, gut feelings.<quoted text>
There is nothing simplistic about hanging corrupt politicians. They are rather diverse in nature, consisting of a variety of interdisciplinary functions of physics, not to mention agrarian aspects of the rope, dendrology, and the very concept of 'death to tyrants' is one of the finer aspects of American history and world philosophy.
It's all a matter of perception. The truth is this: You cannot change them. They will not leave willingly. They will use every nuance and iota of their power to resist, and to retain their power.
If you could name even a few who deserve a sentence revocation, just name them—and I will waste my time proving you to be incorrect. Until then, I stand with experience—they should all be hanged.
The truth in the premise that 'both sides of this particular argument on Topix' are simpletons remains a given. I have wasted more than enough time reading the blathering.
So far, I have not seen you as one of those who have taken a particular side in a stance of 'I am holier than thou' or 'my feces is aromatic and superior'. I could be wrong on that particular stance, and you could correct me rather easily.
Have a nice one.
I am not very smart and you will have to explain to me the interplay of physics, dendrology, sic semper tyrannis and agriculture with American history and world philosophy. For that matter, you will have to enlighten me on "world philosophy" as I am completly unaqainted with what that is.
I tend to cleave to the side of those that use knowledge, humor, intelligence and common sense to front their arguments. I am attracted to those qualities that I do not possess. Dawg, Poos, and the St Louis poster are in my estimation the game to beat on this thread. If siding with them makes me stupid, it will be an ideally well informed and educated stupidity that I embrace. I am not a liberal, but I find that those that profess a more liberal stance are often the more intelligent and open to discussion and points counter to their own. Besides, they are just down right humorous.
