I have an awesome idea call the school board and ask and if they don't answer you sue them for the answer since it is a public school system this incident is public record and you have the right to know.

Using the Freedom of Information Act to obtain information is a little more complicated than that. You need a formal written request. The organization then has a set amount of days to reply.

You would get denied because this is a personnel issue. Which is exempt from the FOIA.

Donna knew what she was doing. She knew that was breaking confidentiality codes. Whoever said she didn't is an idiot. She is a drama starter.

Lysol is actually a very effective home remedy for poison ivy. The oil that ones body secretes is contagious. If there is someone who is extremely allergic to it, then I'm glad that kid was sprayed. I'm sure it wouldn't have mattered who the principal was.

Lysol does nothing for poison ivy when a child has on long sleeve shirts. The only way it is contagious is if the child is rubbing skin against an allergic child with the oil. However, this was not the case. You really think a child should be taken from class and sprayed all over with lysol in the hallway? I am not even a parent who is over protective but this is a little far! Home remedies should not be used at school and if I was the parent I would be highly upset.

No teacher has the right to spray a child with anything. You have to sign a paper in the handbook for permission for the nurse to give your childTylenol if they have fever but you think that's ok? This teacher should for sure be in trouble. If it were my child I would make sure it didn't happen again

Just so all you guys will quit spreading rumors, middle school principle was found to have been recording meetings without consent of others. This is illegal. She is not a horrible person she just did not think about what she was doing. Now get on with your lives and leave it alone. Making fun out of anothers problems is just wrong. If you dont have anything better to do, get a job.
First of all, we don't have a middle school. Second, check the Missouri statutes...it is NOT illegal to record meetings!

This did NOT happen. Go to whoever told you this story and tell them they point blank lied to you! Whoever would lie about this is truly deranged and drama filled.

I don't think several children would be lying. In fact, there are many with the same stories of what happened. I understand that children can stretch the truth, but all of the stories were the same. So I don't think I would call a bunch of kids deranged and drama filled. The parents didn't even know until other kids were talking about it that were in the class.

It did make the paper today, the County Times reports that she is on paid leave pending a board review of adminstrative issues. Jack McIntosh is her replacement, front page under Free Lunch heading. You would think the heading would be Principal on paid leave!

I can't believe this town puts up with this crap. The school board is suppose to work for us not to cover up perverted behavior.I don't live in East Prairie but in the country if we ever have kids they won't be going to that school district.Teachers having affairs, and assistants going with teachers husbands, and I think the recording was a made up deal.I don't want teachers and principals with no morals or self-respect to be around my kids.
