Facts are facts. Virginia, not Mass. was the site of the first Thanksgiving. There is much enrichment of history concernong the Mass Bay colonies. Look up king Phillips War

Perhaps Plimouth should call it "the first Thanksgiving of any importance."

Maybe George will entertain the audience with his "hunt for WMD" skit.

If Dubya eats turkey, is that considered cannabalism?

The collective IQ of the area will take a dangerous drop when he arrives.

Oh...how about that. His appearance is a private invitation-only event. That's the way to keep people who might think differently from you away. God, what a tool.

You know the Drut king can't have any nay-sayers, that would upset his delicate digestion. He needs his affirmation from the Bushie nation.

As glorious as was the esteemed William Henry Harrison, it was his father Benjamin who signed the Declaration of Independence. The son was only three-years-old at the time.

it doesn't really matter who had the first thanksgiving, what matters is that the people came here for freedom, something that we are still yearning for today. if i remember my high school history, people in massechusetts were having trouble farming and were starting to starve, the indians noticed this, came to help them. they had a meal of fish and deer. don't know when the turkey came into play in thanksgiving. i don't eat turkey, i just eat the vegetables, cause to me they taste better.

I don't like people doing things "just because you are suppose to!". I used to do things like that at one time. I think the older you get, the more you realize what is important. I think his time would have been better spent going to Salvation Army's across the area and actually sitting down and talking to some of the people there. I don't mean giving a speech. No, I mean taking the time to talk and find out people's problems and why they are in the situations they are in. Perhaps he could have touched just one life enough to get them on their feet. That would have meant more than all of the speeches in the world at a plantation. Just my opinion.
