If the cause of this house explosion was from copper pipe theives, how many houses have to explode before somebody puts a stop to pipe theivery?

Hey moron "MySmileyFace" did you build it yourself knowing your family will live their? He took pride that house and made sure everything was right. So you say what yiou want I really don't care I know Mike had nothing to do with this and when they prove he did't you should then open your stupid trap and appologize. I don't care if my spelling is perfect or not jerk!!!!
It is live there, not their. It is apparent you don't care about your spelling. Also it doesn't matter if you built it yourself or not. If they miss things in the inspection it can cause problems. Only jerk I see at this moment is you. No apology until they prove it was just an accident.

I was driving on Rt.90 and saw it shoot straight up in the sky out of no where. I knew something blew up, it was so fast and unlike any normal fire Ive seen. Very unsettling, Im so glad no one was home. My prayers are with the family and neighbors and hope that everyone can rebuild quickly.

I just love how everyone wants to blame the gas company. If you read the story, they ruled out pipes leading up to the home including the meter. ALL OF THE PIPING INSIDE OF A HOUSE IS THE HOMEOWNERS RESPONSIBILITY. How does the gas company factor in??? But they will be sued, of course, they're the ones with the deepest pockets for the salivating lawyers. The stupidity of some of these comments astounds me. Most gas-related explosions are caused by: arson, tampering, pipe theft, insurance fraud and suicide attempts.

Oh, did you already forget about that house on the west side? And how it was an arsonists doing? HMMMMMMM. How quickly you forget. Get a clue. KTHXBYE

A gas company employee just told a group of neighbors that it was probably a surge on the main line at the street and that the valve to that house probably malfuntioned.
I doubt an employee for the gas company said anything. A surge in gas pressure from the mainline would have caused a problem for anyone connected to that mainline. The gas line to the house was tested after the explosion and was it held the test. It was most likely a leak inside the house or the failure of one of the appliances. Anyone making comments to the contrary doesn't know anything about gas or gas pipeline.
