As everyone once knew but has tried to forget, Mr. Hubbell was a former partner of Mrs. Clinton at the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock who later went to jail for mail fraud and tax evasion. He was also Bill and Hillary Clinton's choice as Associate Attorney General in the Justice Department when Janet Reno, his nominal superior, simultaneously fired all 93 U.S. Attorneys in March 1993. Ms. Reno--or Mr. Hubbell--gave them 10 days to move out of their offices.

At the time, President Clinton presented the move as something perfectly ordinary: "All those people are routinely replaced," he told reporters, "and I have not done anything differently." In fact, the dismissals were unprecedented: Previous Presidents, including Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter, had both retained holdovers from the previous Administration and only replaced them gradually as their tenures expired. This allowed continuity of leadership within the U.S. Attorney offices during the transition.

Equally extraordinary were the politics at play in the firings. At the time, Jay Stephens, then U.S. Attorney in the District of Columbia, was investigating then Ways and Means Chairman Dan Rostenkowski, and was "within 30 days" of making a decision on an indictment. Mr. Rostenkowski, who was shepherding the Clinton's economic program through Congress, eventually went to jail on mail fraud charges and was later pardoned by Mr. Clinton.

Also at the time, allegations concerning some of the Clintons' Whitewater dealings were coming to a head. By dismissing all 93 U.S. Attorneys at once, the Clintons conveniently cleared the decks to appoint "Friend of Bill" Paula Casey as the U.S. Attorney for Little Rock. Ms. Casey never did bring any big Whitewater indictments, and she rejected information from another FOB, David Hale, on the business practices of the Arkansas elite including Mr. Clinton. When it comes to "politicizing" Justice, in short, the Bush White House is full of amateurs compared to the Clintons.

THE CLINTONS ARE LIARS...
Just remember Hillary stating..."If you re-elect me to the Senate, I PROMISE to serve out my COMPLETE TERM"
All you i/d/i/o/t/s that fell for her line of c/r/a/p are now going to see out incompetent Governor appoint another incompetent named Andrew Como as our new Jr. Senator.

Out goes Hillary,, in comes the next carpetbagger. A revolving door of socialist pretenders. Madamme Secretary should be in a federal prison after Whitewater and her hubby's firing of the 93 US Attorneys to cover up. As with the election of our next president a majority of blame lies with the mainstream media in not persuing the dark side of liberalism and covering up for them. Shame on us for letting this happen. Free handouts equal votes.. look what this has done to our state.

Well, so much for the "Change" that everyone was promised. Forget the state being doomed, how about the whole country.

And this is setting up for the Clinton's to be back in the White House. because the Clinton's are ruthless.

Still don't know what I'm talking about? Check your chain in command on who is what when things go awry.

US Constitution

Article 1 Section 6

Clause 2: Independence from the executive

Main article: Ineligibility Clause
See also: Saxbe fix

Senators and Representatives may not simultaneously serve in Congress and hold a position in the executive branch. This restriction is meant to protect legislative independence by preventing the president from using patronage to buy votes in Congress. It is a major difference from the political system in the British Parliament, where cabinet ministers are required to be members of parliament.

Furthermore, Senators and Representatives cannot resign to take newly created or higher-paying political positions; rather, they must wait until the conclusion of the term for which they were elected. If Congress increases the salary of a particular officer, it may later reduce that salary to permit an individual to resign from Congress and take that position (known as the Saxbe fix).

Wasn't this the plan from the start for the Clintons? As soon as they moved out of the White House, they moveed into NY, and before they could get a box off of the moving truck, Hil decides that she wants to run for US Senate, as a representative of a state she has lived in for 3 miniutes. Everyone knew that this was all a ploy for an eventual run for the presidency, even though she denied it for years, saying she only wants to help the state of Arkan.....I mean New York, which she loves so dear. Now she has a fast track back to the White House, and she will step over anyone who gets in her way.

No one here needs to be reminded of how heated things got between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton during the campaign.
She trashed him, saying he wasn't ready to be commander in chief. He trashed her, mocking her foreign policy experience as first lady.
Well, now of course they have put all of that behind them so she can become his secretary of state. Naturally, given all that was said, this issue came up during an exchange with reporters Monday.
Reporter: You talked about the importance just now of having different voices and robust debate within your administration, but again going back to the campaign, you were asked and talked about the qualifications of the -- now your nominee for secretary of state and you belittled her travels around the world, equated it to having teas with foreign leaders. And your new White House counsel said her resume was grossly exaggerated when it came to foreign policy. I'm wondering if you can talk about the evolution of your views of her credentials since the spring?
Obama: I think this is fun for the press to try to stir up whatever quotes were generated during the course of the campaign. No, I understand, and you're having fun.
There we go again. The pesky media, all we want to do is have a little fun, stir things up for our own amusement.
Really, how silly of that reporter to dare ask you, Mr. President-elect, how it is that you completely mocked Hillary Clinton's foreign policy experience just a few months ago and yet now you think there is no one more qualified than she to lead your foreign policy team?

How is anyone going to miss her. She hasn't done a G D THING SINCE SHE WAS FIRST ELECTED. She and that thing they call a husband are the biggest waste of space on this planet. The best thing that ever happened to Arkansas is when they moved out, to bad she parked her Carpet Bagging Butt in New York. GOOD BY HILIBITCH AND DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN AZZ.

With her new job, will the Clintons desert New York?- I sure hope so!
NY is cursed with enough liberal jackasses we didn't need the Clintons too. They were a disgrace to this country and NYS in particular. My only fear is that she will leave Bill here...She should have dumped is cheatin' arse years ago. In terms of Monica Lewinsky's age he might as well have been a child molester. Has anyone ever really considered how sick he really is? I bet Monica's parents have thought about it often. Hillary showed poor judgement in not getting away from that freak. Now she is going to be using that same judgement in the USA's relations with other countries??? Ask the Lewinskys what they think...

Don't come back you scumbags. How the word doesn't see through the egotistical ways of the Clintons is amazing, but then again its easy to brain wash low achieving new Yorkers looking for the Government handouts
