The people of West Virginia made their intentions clear when they voted overwhelming for Clinton, 72%. It is sad that the big four, Byrd, Rochafeller, Rahall, and you know Manchin is going to follow his buddies, overturned all our votes and gave them to Obama, a black David Duke. These four people could care less for what West Virginia wants or needs. We need a non partisan Governor in office who will not forget who put him in office and work for all of West Virginia and not undermine what we need and want. These four people null and voided your vote, do you really want to put them back in office?

How did they "null and void" your vote? You said yourself that Clinton got 72%, did that change? It's clear that Obama will get the nomination. As superdelegates they are charged with supporting the candidate that gives the democratic party the best chance to win, and that's exactly what they are doing.

You claim Obama is a "black David Duke". Where's your proof of that false claim?

i feel in a way our governor and the rest betrayed the people of this state who clearly voiced their opinion at the polls. i bet if he didnt have to run for reelection he would have went clinton. and by the way what the hell is a super delegate and why do they have so much swing?

I know feelings are running high against those mentioned here, but by the time the election rolls around people in the state of West Virginia will vote for the same people who are in office now. Time heals all wounds and this won't be any different.

Voters in West Virginia can not bring themselves to vote against incumbent Democrats.

What about me? I always vote against incumbents. Just my little way of rebelling I guess.

From what I read, it seems super delegates were created to give Democratic Party officals more control of who would be the party's nominee for president.

The Democratic Party felt that the voters were wielding too much influence over who the nominee should be.

Doesn't matter WHO they voted for, just the fact that they didn't vote the way we voted for them to. To voice our vote is their job!!!!

No....it isn't. The job of a super delegate is to support the candidate that, in their opinion, gives the party the best chance to win the general election.

i could not agree more. i truely believe hilary clinton was the best for the job, but some people just can't get past the fact that she is a woman. it's really a shame how close-minded some people are. i think obama is going to be the antichrist or something. i just have a really bad feeling about him, and i know a lot of other people that feel the same as well. none of them will ever get my vote.
