WVOW is the call letters for the Radio station and they tout themselves as the states premium sports radio station. I went to school with the morning person. His name is Dave Allen, but his real name is David Gilpin. The radio station manager is Larry "Speedy" Bevins.

All things considered, I think they do a good job, offer quite a bit of variety, but I especially enjoy the sports coverage.

Dave Allen does a great job. He's funny and energetic. But the station, as a whole, is really old-fashioned. They really should update their play format. Some gospel music is fine, some sports is good, but not the majority of the time. Too many commercials - dumb ones, anyway. What ever happened to good, plain music, local, state news and national headlines, and local ball games? Some of the games they broadcast are just fillers for time.

I thought what Dave said this morning was totally out of line. He made some comment about checking women's breasts to make sure their bras fit properly. I think this isn't good on a small town radio station. He is always making jokes about drinking, drugs, sex or something.

Its not very good in my opinion. They need to start playing more of a variety of music. They are just worried about enertaining the older generation more than the new. But when you have nothing else to listen to it works!

I like Lum and Abner! Dave is very good in the morning but they should play more music and less news and commercials. I love the Hollywood gossip lady on Tuesdays

yeah the mccormick in the morning.....why not choose a different business everyday, why him is he paying for that slot maybe.....yeah it sucks and does anyone even shop there anymore...they were always way over priced......and who cares about the bahama mama shirts.....just old men wear them.....or how about some banana republic dress pants for 200 bucks.....yeah the radio station needs a new makeover....just hearing bill france do a commercial for the new strip club was hilarious....i bet he hated doing that.....lol
