Maybe you are on drugs like Rush as you seen to have forgotten what you said on the other page, here it is for your foggy recollection;

Druggies should be shot on sight.

Rush is addicted to hillbilly heroin, oxycontin, and went to a dozen different doctors to obtain illegal scripts.

I see, drug abuse is okay for wealthy, rightwingnut rethuglicans, but not for street users. You never mentioned dealing in your first ignorant post.

So, drug abuse is okay if your wealthy, then fools like you don't have to see it and can deny it. I can see that hatred is your drug of choice. Your fuel. Hope you o'd on it.

Anyone who is seriously interested in the failed US drug wars should read Norm Stamper's incredible book, "Breaking Rank". He is a hero, and this is his web-site;

http://www.normstamper.com/

Forty five years of police work, from street beat to Chief of Police in Seattle, Stamper has seen and done it all and tells the truth about the immorality, illegality, futility, and wastefullness of the drug wars. It is a GREAT read from a true American hero.

Here's another insightful and informative book on the disaster drug prohibition laws have brought to our Constitution, justice system, neighborhoods, individual lives, and society:

WHY OUR DRUG LAWS HAVE FAILED: A JUDICIAL INDICTMENT OF WAR ON DRUGS

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1566398606/r...

EXCERPT from Publisher's Weekly review:

Following his career as a federal prosecutor and a trial judge, Gray, now a California Superior Court justice, is struck by the revelation that the so-called war on drugs was "wasting unimaginable amounts of our tax dollars, increasing crime and despair and severely and unnecessarily harming people's lives... the worst of all worlds." He effectively documents a growing coalition of often conservative lawyers, legislators and justices who view the drug war's impotent dream of national abstinence as folly and its shadow effects (from imprisonment of nonviolent offenders to diversion of law enforcement resources) as dangers to liberty. Gray writes with the courage of his convictions, bluntly addressing the most controversial elements of the drug war. For example, he asserts that politicians offer slavish loyalty to the drug war because it is "fundable," not because it is winnable. Similarly, Gray details how drug prosecutions have both whittled away at constitutional protections and corrupted many police agencies. He even takes the radical step of humanizing drug users. Without assuming a libertarian stance, he establishes that the risks to an individual who is determined to use drugs are dwarfed by the harm caused to the community by overaggressive policing and the criminal economy.

END EXCERPT

And this excerpt from the book description is also apt:

"Many officials will not say publicly what they acknowledge privately about the failure of the War on Drugs. Politicians especially are afraid of not appearing "tough on drugs." But Judge Gray’s conclusions as a veteran trial judge and former federal prosecutor are reinforced by the testimonies of more than forty other judges nationwide."

That's "comments". But otherwise, yes - that PR is United States territory is indeed a fact that escapes most hillbilly Americans.

<quoted text>Excuse me it seems to me that you're a very ignorant person, I'm Puerto Rican and I am also a tax payer, I've worked all my life and I don't appreciate your comments not all Puerto Rican's are low lifes or criminals, so I suggest you get your facts straight.
Read your post and you are right. I don't know how to put this right but as a White Protestant, I guess I would be expected to have a lot to complain about. I don't. I find the Puerto Rican community very solid to deal with and I find they deal with me on a color blind basis. I have been going to a barbershop on Main street for four years. First time I went in I was somewhat nervous. There was no reason for that. The people there are great, and I have found that it's wonderful that the bias expected doesn't run in either direction.
