15 killed in the last 11 hours in Juarez‏

Tosh Plumlee reminds us that the violence is not restricted to Mexico. American ranches in particular are under direct threat and in some cases, there is nobody close enough to help, especially when a whole team of bandits arrive to commit the dirty work.

"Two people murdered in Columbus, New Mexico and a local residence shot up and two dogs killed, yesterday. Columbus is about 12 miles north of the Mexican border. Our State Department had no comment."

Plumlee says these incidents against American homes are escalating, it is reminiscent of what took place a century ago when Pancho Villa and his Army made border crossings, attacking towns north of Mexico.

Two University Students Among 4 Killed
Today the violence was rampant in the city.
The lifeless bodies of four people were discovered inside of a green 1998 Chevy Cavalier in Ciudad. The car had no plates; it was found in the parking lot of the supermarket at Four Centuries Boulevard and Ar...."...... article continues

I just got a call asking why I was, "... playing around?...".

I don't think I am playing around. Facts are:

Homeland Security received the information about the weapons and Columbus smuggling operation over two years ago.

ATF, also received the same information, as well as, DEA, Border Patrol, Justice and JSOC of the Pentagon, Washington D.C..

Now this was factual information about an ongoing gun running and drug operation being filtered through Columbus NM and Antelope Wells... AND was reported( via field operative reports) to proper agencies of the U.S. Government. I can say why it took so long for an investigation to get underway.... over 13 months. It has the kind of fingerprints we do not like to see.

If for whatever reasons there is a "Cover-Up", local or government, then this little 'playing around game', as you call it-- should fit rather nicely in getting ALL your butts locked up.... be afraid.... be very afraid... We are watching.... amigo

Friend Tosh has obviously since learned that Columbus is only a little over 3 miles from the border. As far as "renting" your intel unit, I don't think anyone in Columbus could afford you guys. But you're welcome to hang out for free at the Don Nowhere Shebeen as long as you're good to my neighbors at City of the Sun. Talk to Gracie and my nearest neighbors first; my last guest made himself very unwelcome and I want them to have the final word from now on. If your team is as good as the reports at NarcoNews, you won't have any problem finding out who Gracie is, or where the shebeen is located.

Yes... I know... the 12 mile was a typo mistake made by an agency in DC on recap after review.

Columbus is one fine place and in the three years "playing around" in your woods, I have never found finer people... I really enjoyed your Poncho days and got some fine pictures.

You people should be proud of your little town.... you will recover and we will help you..... thanks for the invite... when things settle ...???
