Anyone who will give Stanford Locke any credence is just as off base as he is.

The man doesn't represent the values of the movement nor is he rationale or relavent.

Please quote some individuals who are noteworthy and not a "exteme right wing loose screw." He is just as right as those he accusses as "left-wing radical."

He classless acts and at times vulgar language really defines who he really is.

Locke's mental inbalance and irrational behavior lead to defeat as a viable state legislative candidate.

The Sun-News has really "scrapped the bottom of the barrel" in it's search for public comments.

Additionally, I'm a firm believer in the theory that sometimes, some people, only understand things when put in a certain language. Locke is one of these, and I am more than happy to oblige, in any venue.
Locke doesn't represent me, my children, or any of the beliefs or values of New Mexico as far as I am concerned, and he never will.

I find it interesting that one third of the article centers on insurance agent Stanford Locke, who readily profiles the perpetrator of this attack on the TEA population as a Democratic Party "OPERATIVE". Strange, but obvious attempt to accuse Democrats of some sort of cyber based espionage, although emailing is not exactly considered a covert operation...
Of special note, after such level-headed terms as "Chicken-shit' and "gutter scum" at the rotten core of Obamaism (not quite the temperament I personally look for in my elected officials, qualifying his defeat in 2008 to be categorized as DISASTER AVOIDED), he continues on to say that this entire incident will no doubt energize the TEA movement... an interesting observation by one so close to the victimization of his fellow members... almost as if he knew it was going to happen... hmmmm
I would suggest some weeding in the TEA party's garden of eden, stunts like this don't empower, they make you seem weak and vulnerable, penetrable...
Perhaps that was the idea all along...

Also, looking at Locke's Facebook page, I find it hilarious he lists Shasta College, class of 1966, Liberal Arts, as his education.

He's not from here. He's from Cali. Go back to Cali and protest Governor Schwarzenegger, Mr. Locke.

Anyone to compare PATRIOTS to WTC bombers should be tried for treason. The TEA Party stands for the values that started the United States of America. Reality Check

Perhaps you should re-read my comment... I never mentioned the WTC bombings, are they on your mind?
By the way, a group that has underpinnings of government overthrow should be tried for treason... Whadda think there, Shooter?

The Tea Partiers no more stand for the values of the USA than the suicide bombers did for the values of God.

AND, as Reality Check points out there: "...a group that has underpinnings of govt overthrow..."
should be tried for sedition, not treason.(God forbid they have any state secrets in possession, however.)

The Tea Party is for responsibility of the individual. It is against the government running our lives, which is what they are trying to do.
Any suggestion that we have to take responsibility for ourselves and all of the left-winger extremists come out and start attacking everyone. They want the government to do everything for them.
And why is everyone getting so upset about this guy? Political bashing happens all the time. Let's show a thicker skin.
Anyone who thinks that the Tea Party doesn't stand for traditional American values is probably smoking dope.

Interesting how the editor allowed the reporter’s personal and factually inaccurate opinion to be included in the article.(‘teabagger’ a crude takeoff on the TEA Party and reference to a sexual act). Not a damn thing crude to it. The self-identified teabaggers were simply foxholes and dittoheads who rallied to follow Fox, Astro-turf corporate PR experts, and Reich-wing hate radio efforts to send tea bags to politicians they disagreed with and show up at tea parties. The teabaggers chose to rebel against President's Obama's TAX CUTS for the middle class by purchasing thousands of tea bags and dumping them into various waterways.(Kinda reverse protest to the original Boston Tea Party that was objecting to the first MASSIVE corporate tax-cut.)

Loved the sign seen at an early tea party:“Tea Bag the Dems before they tea bag you.”

The term is now in the Urban dictionary:
"Teabagger n. A conservative activist who is so ignorant that they protest against tax cuts (that benefit them) by throwing tea into a river.

"Teabagging: The moronic act of conservatives/Republicans sending used teabags to lawmakers because they think Obama is a Nazi."

PlacitassRoy, do you have any proof for your claim "The self-identified teabaggers were simply foxholes and dittoheads who rallied to follow Fox, Astro-turf corporate PR experts, and Reich-wing hate radio efforts" or were you just needing another opportunity to spew more of your hate?

Nothing hateful about it.

Clearly the tea partiers (notice I am exercising restraint, in not calling them teabaggers,) are a synonym for "Obama hater," among other things, and are anything but "patriots."

Most, from what I've seen, are unemployed or retired, on medicare or other means of govt support, protesting tax cuts or increases, that really don't affect them in the first place.

They travel the country like a group of political dead heads, attempting to rouse their rabble. Sure, a few of them have a few valid points, but those few are far overshadowed by the majority.

As for preaching responsibility, these Tea people can't even accept that their bad judgement, caused ANY issues, in the past, and are attempting to put the blame for every ill on the world, onto President Obama, or anyone who voted for him.

People who can't even admit they did anything wrong, preaching accepting responsibility, is an insult.

The forefathers would look at these tea people, call them redcoats, and pronounce them loyal to king George.

They stand for nothing that the founders of this nation did, and in fact, the forefathers warned us of these types of people.

**I will not get started on their religious hypocrisy at this point, but I may in the near future.
