Interesting. I zoomed in on my home town and discovered 2 very large subsidy recipients. Only 1 problem. 1 of them died over 10 years ago and his land was sold out in parcels and the other retired over 15 years ago and the land split up among his 3 sons. It's either a complete crock or very old.

So the government helps out local farmers. If WE HAD NO FARMERS, WE WOULD HAVE NO FOOD. Is that what you want? Have you ever grown anything in your life? Probably not!!! You go to the grocery store and buy your food which farmers provide.

The farmers are probably protesting government spending today also. First to complain about taxes and first to put their hand out.

Well my opinion on farmers is this.... cut out the middle man, then the farmers can actually make some decent profit on their crops and livestock. The middle man is the one rakin in the dough...not the farmers.
