I hate to say it but the Launching Pad is a thing of the past. No one could pay the asking price, remodel the place and overcome the bad reputation the last owners left and ever expect to make a profit. I wish it was not so, but sadly I'm afraid it is.

Ask $150,000 and let someone rehab it and start a good business. $629000 I think it is. Is just way too much. Wonder what the northerner bought it for lol

Had some thoughts about The Pad...How about a Route 66/wilmington reception/information center? Keep The Gemini Giant - it is in itself a tourist attraction. In reading materail about places on Route 66, I notice many museaum/reception/information places along the way, but nothing locally. Just an idea...

Umm but who would buy it?
The state w no money
Or our little town that has better things to do.
I think its a good idea as a museum and info center but it comes back to who would do it..

I am afraid its going to be another eagle hotel...

Perhaps the state could buy it - all Quinn has to do is raise another tax - he's good at that.
