What is the deal with the Elberfeld Elementary principal Mrs Pirce and her husband the cop?!!! Why do they fee the need to jump into people lives, and jerk them around! Especially of things they know nothing about? Why are the parents always the bad people?

She has a way of forcing her ideas without asking for background. She's a real piece of work. With her husband as backup ya best just steer clear of her; she's a tyrant!

People like Mrs Pierce are on power trips. We have one more year. We have learned from others to keep our distance and just try to get through. Truth is irrelevant to her.

[Democratic Failure]

We have liberal teachers and administrators like this in our system. It is part of the liberal feel good age where people constantly find the need to dive into your life and screw it up. Having an administrator who's spouse is a cop would be the most powerful screwed up liberal in this position!

Welcome to the day of socialism! You are no longer in control of your life! Some one who knows nothing of your life is!

I understand there is a petition started by teachers and parents to get Mrs Pierce removed. Removed because of what she is doing to kids, parents and how she uses her husband the cop to do so.

I have relatives and friends who want their names on this petition!

How and where can we sign this!!

I absolutely dread dealing with her again this year! The best thing to do is keep your head down and stay out of her way. She has an agenda and the parents are the villain; but that's ok! She has a list of counselors for your which you must see or she will sick her husband on you!

Have any of you been in the position of running a school? Tried pleasing every student, parent, teacher, staff & anyone else who happens into your day? Probably not, it is not an easy job. I'm sure she has stepped on a few toes trying to do her job fairly (which she tries to do everyday). Go ahead and wish for a new principal, it doesn't matter who might get appointed to the position, you wouldn't be happy with them either. We all should be supporting each other not bad mouthing and cutting down someone who is trying to do the best for your child, my child and maybe even you as a parent. The truth hurts, but maybe that is what we need sometimes, someone who is willing to say the things we don't want to hear. Think about it.

That’s a stupid thing to say. If a doctor takes out your child’s appendix during kidney surgery, are you going to change careers and become a doctor so you can do the job? Do you have to be a doctor to realize the problem?

Friends of ours had a run in with her. She blind sided them; pulled them in the office and admonished them in front of their son. She asked them personal questions about why they made decisions and would not change their minds. They were not about to discuss it in front of their child and felt it was not only none of her business but that she had NO business admonishing them in front of the child! This served only to undermine them as parents and made the situation a whole lot tougher for them to deal with.

She then said that she knew they had some tough times so she pulled out a sheet of counselors. They said we don’t need counseling. She said you will seek counseling or Child protective services will be visiting you! All in front of the child, like the parents were the bad students!

They visited the counselor not knowing what else to do. After 2 visits the counselor said, this is silly. You have no problems other then growing up issues and you are dealing with it. The only problem is people meddling.

Our friends won’t stand up to her so they have been trying to sell their house to move to another district. They have had no luck and are in the process of looking into home schooling. If it happens to us you can bet we won’t be a part of this school system. The family comes first.

And NO I am not going to quit my job and career, go through school so I can do her job. That’s just a stupid thing to say!

And Mrs. Pierce has no business being where she is. She may care for the kids but her methods do nothing but undermine the parents. I don’t care what here training is or how hard she tries but she has no business in her position!

It is something which should be brought up into the open for people to deal with. Parents shouldn't be afraid of the school system or it's personnel!

Just learned that she flunked out of police academy. Seems to be making up for it in the Principals office!

20+ parents have submitted letters to the Warrick Co School Board. Each with their own individual complaints of Mrs Pierce.

This is a HUGE number! The number alone would be 10% but even more considering many parents have more then one kid at Elberfeld.

There are a couple I know who were disgruntled with Mrs Pierce but were afraid to write letter for fear of Mrs Pierce and the School Board. People are standing up. Now is the time to come forward if you have issues.

The school board is planning a meeting between Mrs Pierce and a meeting with the Parents. If you have issue now is the time to come forward.

Ironically while this was discussed by the school board it did not show up in the meeting notes!!!
