Who's paying the bill for this?

Take a wild guess??? We, the stupid taxpayers, that's who! If you mean how much does it cost to ride?- nada, zilch, zero. The States, Vermont and New York, are picking up the tab to the tune of 15 million - just till July. That means, 30 million a year. The owners of the ferry hit the lottery and we, the taxpayers, are paying the tab. For that cost both states could have purchased their own ferries and hired their own crews to run them for one tenth that amount. When the bridge finally opens they could have sold the ferries and recouped some of the losses. But unfortunately, there's not an elected official with even a semblance of fiscal responsibilty. We have to voice our concern and hold these morons accountable.
