Unfortunally, for some people that's all the know. Jail/Prison.

This is all due to the fact that IDOC is placing inmates at the work release facilities who are class X offenders, violent offenders, as well as repeat offenders. Giving inmates multiple chances, before some inmates get ONE chance. I have the proof of this information and have recently shared it. It's unfortunate that the innocent people in the community have to be at risk due to the Director of IDOC's Discretion.

Not all Class X felons are properly classified. Some are set up, by friends and ripped from their familes and loved ones.

there are some men who have never been in trouble before and recieved a class x felony because of the new drug laws... Just because they have a class x felony should not prevent them from getting work release, yes if it is a violent class x then of course they should not recieve work release and if you get a chance and mess it up you should not be able to have work release ever again... but when you have never been in trouble and got set up for selling drugs, its your first offense EVER you should have every right to go to work release! and I know specifically that there is a man in this situation right now who has ever right to be in work release, he would not mess it up, and is a better person then most of us will ever be in are entire life!
