This is why I hate driving on 81.. too much traffic which can trigger road rage. I hope the state soon widens this interstate to 3 lanes.

if this was around 5:30 to 6 pm on sunday nite we saw their crazy driving. the one car actually went into the median and the shot right back out onto the highway which had the rest of us all scrambling to not get hit by other cars. they kept going in and out of vehicles, passing one another, then would speed up when they could. nothing but jerks and could have cost alot of lives that day.

Rarely do 2 idiots that are road raging get to meet face to face. That would have been great to be there when they had to stop and trade insurance info!!!
I agree though, that insurance shouldn't pay a dime if these two were really involved with road rage. Insurance is for accidents not a!! holes.

My first thought was "at 71 years old, he should have known better" but then my second thought was "well, the 36 year old should have too!" Goofy people. Wonder if granny was cheering him on or screaming for mercy?

Where are all of the PSP.The other week there were about 15 to 20 chasing the guy southbound on I81 who wasn't caught.I never saw such a rediculous display of disregard for people as they attempted to stop the guy. Also had greencastle and other police in the chase.

The bandit must go down and he must go down hard. Get your ford escort off the roadway and allow the police to crush the fleeing bandit.

SparrowBRUSH NY? I think its Sparrow Bush NY.

I love the grammar in the following paragraph.

Clark, Gehrlein, and Gehrlein's passenger, Louise Schmick, 67, of Newburg, N.Y., all escaped injury. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Other than that, great article.

since when did passing each other several times become road rage? when i drive on 81 i use my cruse control 99% of the time, i pass people who then pass me several times in just a few miles because they can not keep a consistent speed, does that mean i have road rage?
