JLG gets federal money to create jobs. This is just shuffling around the small amount of jobs that are left to get the federal money. The heck with those who lose their jobs. How is this Obama leadership working for ya? Won't be long when delivering papers is the only jobs left.

Just another example of what out of the area companies do to local industries, they really don't give a damn about the local economy, or the people.
When Jerry Poole and Dan Reynolds started the company it was all about more jobs for the area,
opportunities for local folks to make good money and have something to care about and get involved in.
Just look at what happened to all the local home grown companies that were bought up, especially Grove , I'll bet Dwight, John L and Wayne A would be heartsick to see what happened there.
They used to care about the community and the people who worked there, it was almost like a big family. No more ,they just dont care about anything but the almighty buck.

What else can he say? The Socialists are facing November. Joe Bite-me is spinning today how many jobs the Stimulus has created. The Obama regime is not taking the steps needed to help the private sector create jobs.

You people try to blame everything on Obama. This is business....Didn't companies acquire other companies during Bush's presidency, or is this something Obama started? It's not something I like to see, but put the blame in the proper place (as in big business, the republican's friend). This would have been done is the economy was good or bad, so just deal with these mergers and deal with the president we have with dignity, and not like the sore losers many have proven to be.

WTF. can we please keep some jobs in this area. and by the way john from greencastle the republicans are NOT the only BIG BUSINESS lovers. what do you think obama's reign is all about. all you have to do is look at his health care plan to see that. but to get back to this article we r already without jobs now. what is this going to do to the hard working men and woman of jerrdan that are the only in the family working now cause of layoffs and lack of jobs in our area. my brother has worked at jerrdan for more then 15 yrs, this is a shame that he may now lose his job.
