Volunteers call for president's dismissal

I've been familiar with fire companies and ambulance squads for 30 years and this infighting, jealousy, power struggle and bickering is common. They usually don't embarrass themselves in public like this though. This has to be an all time low. It's time for those with any dignity to man up and shut up.

Well lets see the petitions and see how many dead weights are listed on it. Being a member is one thing and if I was bumbaugh I'd throw these people out for unbecoming of a member and I'm sure they have violated some form of the chain of command by going directly to the press, supervisors and the attorney before going and trying to handle this internally.

This smells of personal vendeta. Each and every department has it's issues but just as someone else said these people are not volunteers they are just names on the membership list that if I was a member of would ask for their removal life member or not. I know another life member had this happen to him for good cause and reason and this should happen to these individuals also.

The members have tried repeatedly to correct this in house and nothing changed, so they had to go public. And you wanna talk about personal vendettas, WOW, just look at some of the actions taken against some of the present and past members and you'll really see what a personal vendetta is!!!

And since you THINK you know so much, who is the Life Member you're referring to and why were they removed???? Bet ya don't have what it takes to answer!!!!!!!!!!

Well Bobby as a matter of fact you do know who I'm talking about and yes I do have what it takes to answer. It's you that I was speaking of. I'm sure you knew this since you are always complaining on other web forums about having your life membership revoked.

Well know it all, why don't ya tell everyone, including myself EXACTLY what it was that I was removed for.

To this very day, I have never received any written communication that I was removed as a Life Member or Fire Chief and I have never been given a reason why.

On April 19, 2006 I was summoned to a special Board of Directors meeting and the President at the time made the following statement;

"I have issues working with Bob as Fire Chief and I suggest he be removed as Fire Chief and his Life Membership taken away." A motion was made, seconded and voted on with two officers voting no and about 4 or so voting yes.

So please, please, please use your wealth of inside information and tell me and the rest of the world why this happened. I've heard a couple rumors on why and I'll say that I can prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt that they're all bogus, bullshit rumors.

But first let me says this. I was just recently informed that I was removed at the urging of two members (wanna guess who) and it was "A matter of survival, it's either me or him (the him would be me)."

Also in closing, I and a few others have been MAN enough to post our names and not hide like cowards behind user names, so man up and tell us who you are while you're at it.

Hey jackass, you don't me, my back ground or jack shit about this matter. I didn't get my teeth kicked in, I sure ain't a punk and when something is wrong, I sure as heck ain't shut up. That's one thing people don't like about me, I say EXACTLY what's on my mind.

I got the axe because I didn't conform or buckle down to their, let's say method of operation. I should have seen the writing on the wall some mnoths before April 2006 when one of them said, and I qoute "Bob, you could have been Fire Chief as long as you wanted to be, IF you would have surrounded yourself with the right people."

If you do know me, then you evidently don't know me!!!
