As a matter of fact Marion's PSSA score are very high. I think that can be the fact it is a small school and the teachers know those children. I am sorry your child did not get the education you wanted. I think the teachers at Marion are great.
As far as the comment aboutthe kids surfing the net, I have a child at the highschool who has basically a cyber class with a teacher in the room in case they have a problem....go figure that!

I'd just like to say the reason my family moved to this town was because of the school and the community. We came from an enormous elementary school which had 4 classes of each grade, and let me tell you, those schools are NOTHING!!! Sure, they had the latest technology and new gadgetry but the student/teacher relationship was that of a robot. I've seen both sides of the mirror people, and I vote Marion stays open! Alot of people keep blabbing off about this issue but do their children come here? Probably not so why should they care? It isn't their community that is about to have the heart ripped out--it's ours! All they care about is the almighty dollar and how to save more for themselves!
