Did they ever release any info on Kellan Reaver's death?

Could these deaths be related?

If I understand correctly, this is the same area/block?

I reject all notions that things in the world aren't better today then they were at any other point in history. The world has always been effed up in one way or another. But the things people complain about today - crime, poverty, war, hatred, ignorance, political squabbling, disrespectful youth, unemployment, and not getting cellular service in this area - are all things people have ALWAYS complained about. Well, maybe not that last one...

When I was a kid (1980's) the world was awesome. I was happy. Things were good. But old people complained a lot. They said things like "things used to be much better." But to me, I didn't get it. Still don't. But I didn't know about how messed up the world was in the 80's. Crime, drugs, gangs, AIDS... it was all irrelevant.

Same thing today, except, I try to focus on the positive. The world isn't so bad now. My life certainly isn't. I have all this great technology right at my fingertips. Anything I could ever want to know is just a Google search away. Medical science and technology has cured diseases and extended lifespans.

So what about Chambersburg? I hated it here when I moved here. I was bored out of my skull. Nothing for a young person to do. Night life was non-existent, the food was bland and boring, it didn't even seem close to anything exciting. But it's grown on me. A lot. It's improved a lot, for sure - there's certainly more to do, but believe it or not, it still holds onto some of its small town charm. It's not unsafe - no matter what you'd like to believe. Certainly safer than most larger communities. I've never been mugged downtown at night. But bad things happen, we all know they do, all over the place.

Bad things have always happened, everywhere. I don't think it's more prevalent now - I just think we're less ignorant to it. It's the information age, we know what's going on in our backyards and sometimes, we don't like what we hear. Bad news sells, always has, but being informed shouldn't mean getting angry about it.

Enjoy life, it's no worse than it ever was. In many ways it's better. Just be positive.

Ponder how life in Chambersburg was in the Summer of 1864.

I can let you know for a fact, Calvin beams death has no relation at all to what happened to my brother. We know nothing about what happened to Kellan, One day we hope justice is served for him. But he's been gone for over a year now, they caught who shot Calvin. Nothing that happened to Calvin is related to Kellan. Thanks.
