Lately it seems that people name their kids by throwing darts at the eye chart. Then there are the trendy names that come from movies or pop stars that will be long forgotten by the time the kid is an adult.

"Daddy, please explain again why my name is Bjork."

Pity the teachers, who need to learn all forty ways to spell Mykel, oops, I mean Miquil, no that's Michael.

Things must be slow.
Here's one you overlooked just tatoo a name on the forehead, that way teachers and you can cope. Awwwww?Wa wa!

Maybe that's what's wrong with the NCLB: teachers are pre-occupied with the spelling and orgin of children's names.

Anon too: You're way too clever for a cow. Are you beef or dairy ?

Sundance: Must you politicize everything ? Actually, NCLB might be the one thing on which you and I have ever agreed.

So, you must be dairy. If you were beef you'd hate the grill.
